Registration Deadline For: Patrol Leaders’ Training Course Round 1

Dear Guide Guiders,

This PLTC aims to equip the Patrol Leaders / Company Leaders / ACLs with the necessary leadership skills to be able to manage her Patrol and Unit efficiently.

Objectives:
· To understand the roles and responsibilities of a Patrol Leader / ACL / CL
· To develop effective leadership and organisation skills
· To Assist Guiders in managing the unit

Target Group:
· Guides who are identified as potential leaders or are holding leadership positions
· Enrolled Guides in Sec 2 / 3

Course Requirement
– 100% Attendance
– Pre-Task: Guides will be given work to do during the course itself. We expect the girls to complete the necessary work.

Round 1 Dates and Times

• 17 March 2026, Tuesday, 9am – 4pm at Guide House (mandatory)
• 18 March 2026, Wednesday, 9am – 4pm at Guide House (mandatory)

 This PLTC will cost $70 / Guide (not inclusive of 9% GST)

1. Each Unit can send up to 5 Guides. It will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Guiders can send your CL, ACL or PLs for this training.
3. We will be providing tea and lunch (for the physical sessions) and all the necessary materials for this training.

 Disclaimer: Please note that billing will be based strictly on the number of participants registered for the event, as the fees are subsidised by GGS. In the event of a no-show, the full fee will remain payable by the school or individual participant. For students under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme, the respective Guider is required to contact the organiser and submit the FAS documentation on the student’s behalf. Students on MOE FAS will be fully subsidised.
