Our Tri-Annual Gala Fundraising Dinner is back — and this year, we invite you to Bloom Together with us!

The Gala Dinner is more than an event. It is a collective effort to uplift, empower, and invest in the future of GGS and our members. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, your contribution makes a difference.

This is your opportunity to take the stage, share your creativity, and support our organisation in a meaningful way. Whether you perform solo, with your unit, or your Guiding friends, this is your moment to bloom and shine!

Step forward. Share your talent. Let’s create an evening that truly blossoms.

We Welcome:

  • Instrumentalists
  • Dancers
  • Solo singers, choirs & vocal ensembles
  • Magicians
  • Live art or creative showcases
  • Any other unique talents

Timeline and Commitment

23 March – 11 April: Submission of interest and talent showreel/description

18 & 25 April: Auditions

End May – August: Rehearsals

Selected performers must commit to at least 80% of rehearsals to ensure a polished and impactful showcase. Rehearsal timings will be arranged based on majority availability.

  1. OPEN CALL FOR CREATIVE HANDMADE DOOR & TABLE GIFTS FOR GUESTS

We are also inviting creative minds to contribute handcrafted gifts for our corporate donors and partners attending the Gala Dinner.

These gifts will reflect appreciation, thoughtfulness, and the spirit of Bloom Together.

We’re looking for contributions in two categories:

  1. Door & Table Gifts
    Examples include:
  • Handmade crafts
  • Artisan keepsakes
  • Sustainable or eco-friendly items
  • Custom-designed tokens
  • Collaborative craft projects by units

Items should be:

  • Elegant and meaningful
  • Suitable for recipients
  • Practical or display-worthy
  • Able to be produced in bulk quantity — we expect approximately 500 guests. Depending on participation levels, each contributing individual/group should be prepared to produce at least 100 pieces. Where required, we may also put out a call for volunteers to assist with production.
  1. Auction Items
    We also welcome special handcrafted pieces or artworks that can be featured in our auction.

These can include:

  • Small artworks
  • Unique handcrafted items
  • Special creative pieces suitable for auction
  • Auction items do not need to be produced in large quantities

Timeline

23 March – 11 April: Submission of interest and description of sample image of item

End April: Confirmation of item from HQ

Week 1 August: Completion of items
