Jalan and Makan at Chinatown

Jalan and Makan returns! After last year’s memorable walk through Peranakan Joo Chiat, we’re excited to bring you Season 2 – Chinatown, with a focus on community life in the past century, street art, and heritage food.

Highlights include:

• Chinatown murals by Yip Yew Chong & “Samsui Woman” by Sean Dustin
• Visit to Chinatown Heritage Centre (1-hour self-guided tour, lift available)
• Entry: $12, with SG60 promo – bring a guest in for free if one is 60+
• Heritage treats: Tong Heng egg tarts, pandan chiffon, Ah Bo Leng, Ahma cha, and Michelin-rated soya sauce chicken
• Lunch at Maxwell Food Centre – choose your favourites and dine together
• Approx. 5,000 steps – comfortable walking shoes recommended!
