Flying Up Ceremony

Dear Brownie Guiders and Guide Guiders,

In collaboration with the Brownie, Guide and Young Adult Branches, we are pleased to organise the Flying Ceremony at the national level. The Flying Up Ceremony is a Guiding tradition celebrating the achievements of Brownies and Guides as they take the next step in their Guiding journey, symbolically “flying up” to the next phase of their personal and leadership development. This year, we are proud to introduce the newly launched Guide Wings, which will be presented during the Ceremony to mark this significant milestone.  

• The Brownie Wings is awarded to a Brownie who completes her Golden Hand before Primary 6 (i.e. by the end of Primary 5). She will fly up to be a Guide. 
• The Guide Wings is awarded to a Guide who completes her Gold Award before Secondary 4 (i.e. by the end of Secondary 3). She will fly up to be a Young Adult.

Date: Saturday, 25 October 2025

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Venue: Bishan Girl Guides House, Hall Level 2

Attire: Full Uniform

Join us for a meaningful and fun-filled ceremony! There will be interactive booths for all participants to enjoy.

Parents, Guardians, and Guiders are warmly welcomed to join us!
