BASIC TRAINING COURSE II, 2020
Dear Sir/Mdm,
Girl Guides Singapore (GGS) will be conducting the Basic Training Course (BTC) in July 2020 for all adult leaders leading the Girl Guides’ programme in School.
The BTC is a compulsory training course for all teachers who are appointed as Guiders for the school CCA, Girl Guides. This course will equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to value-add and lead the Girl Guides programmes in their Units. The course consist of 3 modules. All adult leaders must complete all the 3 modules of this course before they can receive their warrant.
Due to the current COVID19 situation, the Training Branch had to make adjustments to our current curriculum.
100% attendance is required for the BTC.

Individual: To submit a Unit Meeting Programme to be executed on the CCA day to be observed. |
Guider’s Uniform |
To be able to facilitate a 2-hours Girl Guides meeting in school according to GGS’ requirements. |
Registration Details:
- Submit a copy of the BTC2020_REGISTRATION_R1_Guide / BTC2020_REGISTRATION_Brownies / Volunteers to Jasmine at jasmine@girlguides.org.sg
- Registration will be confirmed via email.
- Cost fee: $380 (Guide Guiders) / $420 (Brownie Guiders) per person inclusive of all meals/refreshments, training materials, accommodation and Uniform for Guider.
- Collection of training materials and uniform from the Guide shop at Bishan will be further advised.
- Closing date: 3 July 2020.
