Smoke-Free Ambassador Programme (Brownies)

Dear Brownie Guiders,
GGS and Singapore Cancer Society Anti-smoking Ambassador badge programme is into its 9th year and over 1000 girls have completed the programme. In this programme, the Brownies who are Smoke Free Ambassadors will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. Through the programme the Brownies are challenge to innovate and create meaningful anti-smoking campaigns to encourage their peers to either quit smoking or not smoke at all. Girls who have completed the programme have shown to display creativity in planning their campaign and were effective advocates to their peers to live a healthy lifestyle.

Time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Mode: Virtual (Zoom)
Attire: Brownie t-shirt
Closing Date: 20 February 2024
Number of places available: 100
Please take note of the following:
- Brownies must be accompanied by a Guider during the virtual session.
- Deliverables will require group work. Each group is made up of 5 Brownies.
- If you are sending more than 10 Brownies, please submit another form.
Timeline of Deliverables:
- Submission of Project Proposal: By 5 April 2024
b. Submission of Summary Report & Claims: By 31 May 2024 - Smoke-Free Ambassador Ceremony: TBA
Photos will be taken during the session and these photos may be used for GGS reporting and publicity purposes. If you have any Brownies who do not want to be featured, please indicate their names below.
