Launch Glider Programme with SYFC for Sec 2 Guides

Dear Guide Guiders, 

We are pleased to inform you that we will be having a Launch Glider workshop with Singapore Youth Flying Club in October – November 2023.

These workshops are a collaborative effort with SYFC to inspire more girls to explore options in STEM and in the aviation industry.

As this is a very special programme, we are only able to take a very small group of girls. Please see the criteria below.

1. Each school can only send 2 Guides.
2. These 2 Guides must be holding a leadership position or have leadership potential.
3. The girls will go through the Launch Glider Programme that the SYFC CCA students go through.

Date: 27 Oct, 8.15am – 1.30pm
Attire: Guides Tshirt, long pants, covered shoes (no exposed feet)
Things to bring:

• Own snacks and drinks
• Writing material

Pre-requisite:

• Holding Leadership Position
• 14 years old as of 2022
• Less than 600 degrees max myopia and 200deg max astigmatism on each eye
• No color blindness
