Application Deadline for Her Health Ambassador Badge Programme

Dear Guide Guiders, 

GGS and Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) are coming together again after a decade of partnership to run a brand new badge program: the Her Health Ambassador Badge, which is debuting this year in place of the Smoke-Free Ambassador Badge for guides (now reserved only for brownies). This badge is a collaborative effort with SCS, who has been a partner of Girl Guides Singapore for over a decade. Read on to find out more!

Through this badge programme, our girls are being given the opportunity to

Lead an advocacy project championing girl health by speaking up about their beliefs

Exercise their leadership skills, including the potential to further explore the following WAGGGS Leadership Mindsets: Gender Equality, Responsible Action, Reflection, Collaboration, and Worldly Mindsets

Build confidence in their facilitation skills

Engage their communities in a safe, girl-led discussion on a personally impactful social cause

This badge consists of the following deliverables:

• Circles of Being is a safe, supportive, facilitated space designed to give girls the opportunity to empower each other and share about girls’ health. They will be tasked to replicate a Circles of Being session with their peers and submit a short write-up in their Summary Report.
• An Insights Infographic Poster is also to be submitted, containing a creative overview of the Circles of Being session they’ve conducted with their peers.
• Photo and/or Video Documentation of their Circles of Being session.
• A Personal Reflection

Project Execution: 15 April – 30 May 2026

Summary Report Submission Deadline: 5 June 2026, Friday, 5pm

RUN TWO

Registration deadline: 10 July 2026, 5pm, Friday

Project Execution: 22 July – 18 September 2026
