Free Being Me Training for Guides Round 2

Dear Guide Guiders,
Free Being Me (FBM) is an educational programme that promotes body confidence and a world free from appearance-related anxiety. Through relevant, exciting, accessible and learner-led activities, young people learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies, challenging beauty stereotypes and advocating for a healthy body image in their friends, and communities.
Each Guide will attend the FBM training and carry out her action project to promote the body confidence message by reaching out to 2 people. Please see details below:
Date: 17 August 2024, Saturday
Time: 9am – 5pm
Venue: Guide House, Level 2, Hall
Attire: Full-Uniform (Guides Skirt and Guides Tshirt)
Things to bring:
- Writing Materials
- Jacket
- Water Bottle
Registration
- Guiders can register for up to 5 Guides per school via https://forms.gle/rcX5bRAL9fmSmifSA by 26 July 2024
- $10 / Guide (excluding 9% GST)
- Slots will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis
