WTD Rehearsal (refer to previous circulars)

30/12/2023 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Dear Guiders,

World Thinking Day Theme

What does our world, our thriving future mean to you?   In striving for a better future, it’s crucial to focus on both our personal well-being and the health of our environment. Let’s explore how fostering well being and nurturing a sustainable environment are essential components for building a prosperous tomorrow.

Sub-theme 1) Healthy Mind and Body

A thriving future is deeply linked to maintaining good physical health and fostering well-being in our minds. When we prioritize our health, we build strength that helps us contribute positively to our communities and face life’s challenges with confidence. Taking care of our emotional well-being is just as important, providing us with the inner strength needed to navigate life’s ups and downs.

Sub-theme 2) Sustainable Development : Water-Food-Energy

Preserving our environment, particularly concerning food, water, and energy, is crucial for ensuring a thriving future. Practising responsible consumption, such as making mindful food choices and conserving water, rethinking established ways of resource management are vital to maintaining a sustainable and livable environment. By incorporating renewable energy sources and minimising carbon footprint, we can further support the protection of our planet’s resources, securing a better future for generations to come.
