We expect the girls to complete the necessary work. \n  \nWe will be trying out a new way of conducting the Patrol Leaders’ Training Course for Guide Leaders in a blended format on the following dates:  \n\n	25 May\, 9am – 4pm (At HQ)\n	6 June\, 9am – 4pm (At HQ)\n	21 June\, 10am – 12pm (Virtual)\n	22 June\, 10am – 12pm (Virtual)\n	27 Jul\, 3.30pm – 5.30pm (Virtual)\n\n  \n\n	This PLTC will cost $40 / Guide.\n	Any Guide who is on MOE FAS Scheme can request for 100% subsidies. There will be a no-show fee if these girls register but do not show up without a valid reason.\n	Each Unit can send up to 5 Guides. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nMental health is everyone’s business. Awareness on mental health is important in order to remove stigma and extend help to those in need. \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore has launched the Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme in 2021. It is created for the Guides to equip them with the mental health knowledge and skills as well as support them to initiate ground-up mental health projects to increase mental health awareness among their peers\, family and community. We want our girls to be mindful of the current situation and become responsible citizens who will take action to change the world by advocating for mental health to improve the lives of others. \n  \nThe next run of the Mentally LIT training will be held at Guide House on 30 – 31 May 2023 & 1 June 2023\, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (all three days). \nParticipants will need to complete an action project (group work) after that. The workshop is now opened for registration. \nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows: \n\n	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\nApproach for the workshops: \n\n	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop.
