SUMMARY:Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme (6th Run)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nMental health is everyone’s business. Awareness on mental health is important in order to remove stigma and extend help to those in need. \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore has launched the Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme in 2021. It is created for the Guides to equip them with the mental health knowledge and skills as well as support them to initiate ground-up mental health projects to increase mental health awareness among their peers\, family and community. We want our girls to be mindful of the current situation and become responsible citizens who will take action to change the world by advocating for mental health to improve the lives of others. \n  \nThe next run of the Mentally LIT training will be held at Guide House on 1-3 November 2022\, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (all three days). Participants will need to complete an action project (group work) after that. Guiders can register for 5 or 6 girls per Unit via this link https://forms.gle/PLARowSa1cbUxFiKA by 7 October 2022. \n  \nFor further queries\, please contact Lin Fang at linfang@girlguides.org.sg \n  \nThank you. \n  \nSincerely\, \nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner
