SUMMARY:Facilitation Workshop for Guide Peer Facilitators (CV)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for student leaders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration. Guiders can register for up to 5 Guides (leadership ranks or with potential leadership) per school. \n  \nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows: \n\n	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\n  \nApproach for the workshops: \n\n	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop. SUMMARY:SANA Badge Programme Workshops for 2021
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nAs the current online mode for the SANA Badge has received positive feedback across the board for its flexibility in completing the readings and assessment. \n  \nWe will be scheduling a few months namely\, Oct – Nov in 2021 for the girls to participate in the SANA Anti-Drug & Inhalant Abuse Badge Programme. \n  \nPlease note that the badge programme will cost $3.00 / Guide and there is no limit to the number of girls you can choose to send. \n  \nPlease see the process below: \n\n	Register for your girls here (the deadline for registration is 2 Oct 2021)\n	GGS will email SANA with the number of girls for confirmation\n	SANA will then send GGS the reading materials\, practice link and assessment link before the period.\n	Guides can do their self-study and login anytime during the period to complete the online assessment for self-practice. Guides are to practice for the quiz using the practice link before they attempt the actual assessment via the assessment link. DESCRIPTION:Girl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience. \n  \nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice. Leadership practice emphasizes on the daily behaviours you choose to engage in to put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your “way s of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader. \n  \nThe WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls\, no matter what age\, can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders. \n  \nTo send your girls for this training\, you can register here: WAGGGS Leadership Model Virtual Training. \n\nParticipating Guides should be at least Sec 2s and above. Each Unit can send up to 8 – 10 Guides for this training. Each training will accommodate up to 40 Guides.
