DESCRIPTION:Girl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience.\n\n \n\nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice. Leadership practice emphasizes on the daily behaviours you choose to engage in to put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your “way s of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader.\n\n \n\nThe WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls\, no matter what age\, can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders.\n\n \n\nTo send your girls for this training\, you can register here: WAGGGS Leadership Model Virtual Training.\n\n \n\nThere are 4 dates to choose from:\n\n 	26 June\, Fri\n 	24 Jul\, Fri\n 	14 Aug\, Fri\n 	11 Sep\, Fri\n\nAll sessions will take place in the afternoon from 2.30pm – 5.30pm. The workshop is now opened for registration.\n\nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows:\n\n 	Identify key beliefs and demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n 	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n 	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n 	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n 	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\nApproach for the workshops:\n\n 	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout   the entire workshop. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\n \n\nThis year\, the Guide Branch had revamped the Footdrill Proficiency Badge.\n\n \n\nTo help Guides level up their Footdrill skills and for those who are keen to work towards this badge\, the Guide Branch will be organising two rounds of Footdrill Proficiency Badge Course. At national level\, the attainment of this badge is solely through this Course. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nThe inaugural Guide Awards Ceremony will be held on 26 September 2020. It will be held virtually and on this special occasion\, GGS will be celebrating the achievements of our 3Gs: \n\n	Guide Units (PNA)\n	Girls (Baden-Powell awardees)\n	Guiders (Guider Awards)\n\nThe theme for the Awards Ceremony is GG United – Unifying Hearts\, Uniting Strength. Please see attached for a detailed description of the theme. \n  \nIn preparation for the ceremony\, we would like to request the following submission from the relevant Guiders: \n\n	Units who have achieved a PNA award\n\n\n	\n\n	Submit via https://tinyurl.com/ggsaward20pna \n	Submit one photo of your Unit\n	Include a quote that best describes each your company\n	If you had submitted PNA for two companies\, please do this submission for separate coys.\n\n\n\n\n	Recipients of any of the Guider Award (e.g. Clover Award\, Palm Leaf\, Long Service\,etc)\n\n\n	\n\n	Submit via https://tinyurl.com/ggsaward20guider\n	Submit one photo of the Guider recipient (preferably in Guider Uniform)\n	Include a short congratulatory quote directed at the award recipient\, written by a member of the Unit such as another Guider or a CL\n\n\n\n\n	Recipients of the BPA Award \n\n\n	\n\n	Submit via https://tinyurl.com/ggsaward20bpa\n	Submit one photo of the BPA recipient (preferably in Guide Uniform)\n	Include a short quote about the BPA journey from the award recipient\n\n\n\nPlease submit the information required by 21 August 2020.  \nNote details regarding the ceremony will be disseminated closer to the date. \n  \nThank you for your support and assistance!
