DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,  \nGirl Guides Singapore in collaboration with People’s Association (PA)\, are enhancing youths’ emergency preparedness capabilities by launching the Emergency Preparedness Trooper Badge Programme. \nThis programme is for girls in Secondary 2 and above (Guiders need not be present). Girls must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.  \nPlease note that as part of this badge programme\, the Guides / YAs would be required to complete the following: \n\n	2 days of First-Aid Training and become a certified First-Aider\n	At least 2 events with either People’s Association\, Girl Guides Singapore\, or their school to apply their first-aider skills \n\nThese events include: \n\n	sharing of lifesaving trainings to residents\n	assisting SCDF trainers in the demonstration of CPR-AED techniques and procedures\n	providing first-aid coverage for large scale events.\n\n2 Days’ Training is broken down into \n\n	1 day: self-directed\, virtual learning that the Guide / YA will be required to complete before attending the physical training’s session\n	1 day: physical training for CPR-AED\n\nThe badge is applicable to both a Girl Guide\, Young Adult and Adult Leaders. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guides and Young Adults\, \n\nWe are pleased to present “Women of Change: Empowering Her”\, an international conference initiated and hosted by YAs in Singapore.  The programme will consist of two virtual workshops on 11 and 18 January 2026\, followed by an in-person conference from 14 March to 16 March 2026. \n\n“Women of Change: Empowering Her” is an international programme dedicated to championing gender equality. It will serve as a platform to inspire\, equip and empower young women with the knowledge\, skills and confidence to advocate for gender equality – in alignment with SDG 5: Gender Equality and the WAGGGS leadership mindset on Gender Equality.\n\nThrough workshops and conference sessions\, participants will engage with industry professionals\, exchange stories with like-minded young women from diverse cultural backgrounds\, and build a strong network of passionate changemakers. Furthermore\, this programme will provide a safe and empowering space for discussion\, ideation and the development of initiatives that break down gender barriers. The overview and details of the programme can be found in this link.\n\nUltimately\, we hope that this will create opportunities for all young women to thrive and develop their fullest potential in a more equitable world. After the event\, participants will be expected to complete a community impact project within their own Member Organisation / local community. More information on the impact project will be released at a later date.\n\nParticipation is open to all GGS Girl Members members aged 15 to 25. \n\nThe event fee is SGD250 per participant. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guides and Young Adults\, \n\nWe are pleased to present “Women of Change: Empowering Her”\, an international conference initiated and hosted by YAs in Singapore.  The programme will consist of two virtual workshops on 18 and 25 January 2026\, followed by an in-person conference from 14 March to 16 March 2026. \n\n“Women of Change: Empowering Her” is an international programme dedicated to championing gender equality. It will serve as a platform to inspire\, equip and empower young women with the knowledge\, skills and confidence to advocate for gender equality – in alignment with SDG 5: Gender Equality and the WAGGGS leadership mindset on Gender Equality.\n\nThrough workshops and conference sessions\, participants will engage with industry professionals\, exchange stories with like-minded young women from diverse cultural backgrounds and build a strong network of passionate changemakers. Furthermore\, this programme will provide a safe and empowering space for discussion\, ideation and the development of initiatives that break down gender barriers. The overview and details of the programme can be found in this link.\n\nUltimately\, we hope that this will create opportunities for all young women to thrive and develop their fullest potential in a more equitable world. After the event\, participants will be expected to complete a community impact project within their own Member Organisation / local community. More information on the impact project will be released at a later date.\n\nParticipation is open to all GGS Girl Members aged 15 to 25. \n\nThe event fee is SGD250 per participant. Membership Exercise for Units \nTo ensure that our records are up-to-date and to serve you better\, we would appreciate your help to complete the membership form at http://tinyurl.com/unitmembership2024 and make payment of the annual unit registration and membership fees. \n\n	The annual registration fee for each Unit is $10.90 (including 9% GST)\n	The annual membership fee will be $8.72 (including 9% GST)\n\nAn invoice will be sent to your schools upon receipt of your membership form. Payments could be made by IFAAS or GIRO. The annual registration and membership fees are  to be paid before HQ AGM (24 May 2025) for all members. \nThe same membership fee applies to all categories of GGS Membership listed below: \n\n	Guiders  \n	Brownies \n	Guides \n	Unit Helpers \n\n  \nB.
