DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nThe Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Programme (GAP) 2026 is back. Since its launch in 2012\, more than 600 of our Guides have become GB Ambassadors of the award-winning garden. Guides who have completed the programme discovered more about the vast variety of plants and acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. This is indeed a great learning opportunity for the Guides as they play an active role in one of Singapore’s popular tourist attractions.\n\nSession 1: Virtual Orientation Session via Microsoft Teams (Compulsory)\n\nDate/Day: 3 Feb 2026\, Tuesday\nTime: 3pm – 4pm (Guides to log on 15 minutes before the start of session)\nMode: Online via Microsoft Teams (Details will be sent upon confirmation)\nAttire: Guides polo t-shirt/Guides-related t-shirt\n\nNote: Guiders must accompany the Guides online. Units are highly encouraged to log-in using one laptop.  Please ensure that the Guides/Guiders’ laptops are able to access Microsoft Teams. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n\nGirl Guides Singapore in collaboration with People’s Association (PA)\, are enhancing youths’ emergency preparedness capabilities by launching the Emergency Preparedness Trooper Badge Programme.\n\nThis programme is only for girls in Secondary 3 and above (Guiders need not be present). Girls must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. \n\nPlease note that as part of this badge programme\, the Guides / YAs would be required to complete the following: \n\n	2 days of First-Aid Training and become a certified First-Aider\n	At least 2 events with either People’s Association\, Girl Guides Singapore\, or their school to apply their first-aider skills: You may register here if you are keen to volunteer as a First Aider as part of Chingay 2026!\n\nWe look forward to your participation in this meaningful programme that empowers our girls to serve with skill and confidence. \n\nThank you.\n\n\nYours sincerely\, \n\nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner
