DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for Guiders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration. \nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows: \n\n	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\nApproach for the workshops: \n\n	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop. Act in a New norm \n  \nThe last few years have indeed challenged ourselves to think out of the box\, innovate and create new boundaries for Girl Guiding. Despite these challenges\, Guiders continue to inspire our girls\, learn collaboratively and innovate for best practices. We need to continue to establish connections within the Guiding community and beyond\, build friendships as well as learn to work together to solve the problems threatening our world. \n  \nAs we approach towards a new Guiding Norm\, GGS hopes to collaborate with you and take action to pioneer  the new way forward. Whilst remembering our roots\, we can be the pioneers to define this new chapter of Guiding\, draw links and draw strengths from one another to develop our girl leaders of the future.
