SUMMARY:Facilitation Workshop for Brownies (CV)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for student leaders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration. Guiders can register for up to five P4 & P5 Brownies (Sixers / Seconds / Brownies with potential leadership) per school. \nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows: \n\n	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\n Approach for the workshops: \n\n	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \nWe will be conducting a series of GuidingLIGHT Online Handbook in 2021. All these trainings are all done via Zoom Meeting. \nPlease note dates below: \n\n	29 Apr\, 3pm – 5pm\n	17 Sep\, 3pm – 5pm\n\nPlease register here \nThis training is available for Guiders who have never attend any of the GuidingLIGHT Online Handbook sessions. However\, Guiders who need a refresher are welcome to join us as well on either dates as well. \nGuiders who attend the session will also be awarded Skills Badge – Online Handbook e-badge. \nAn email confirmation for your attendance with your Online Handbook Account will be sent to you at least three days before the training. \nDo make sure that the microphone\, audio and video on the laptop are working before joining the Zoom Meeting. The details for the meeting will be sent to the participants nearer the date of training.
