DESCRIPTION:Girl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience.\n\n \n\nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice. Leadership practice emphasizes on the daily behaviours you choose to engage in to put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your “way s of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader.\n\n \n\nThe WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls\, no matter what age\, can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders.\n\n \n\nTo send your girls for this training\, you can register here: WAGGGS Leadership Model Virtual Training.\n\n \n\nThere are 4 dates to choose from:\n\n 	26 June\, Fri\n 	24 Jul\, Fri\n 	14 Aug\, Fri\n 	11 Sep\, Fri\n\nAll sessions will take place in the afternoon from 2.30pm – 5.30pm. Participating Guides should be at least Sec 2s and above. Each Unit can send up to 10 Guides for this training. Each training will accommodate up to 40 Guides. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for Guiders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration.\n\nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows:\n\n 	Identify key beliefs and demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n 	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n 	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n 	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n 	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\nApproach for the workshops:\n\n 	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout   the entire workshop.
