SUMMARY:Girl Guides Singapore School Cookie Project 2024
DESCRIPTION:Dear GGS Members\, \n  \nIt’s that time of the year again when our girls get to step up\, take charge and showcase their communication and entrepreneurial skills through our annual School Cookie Project! \n  \nAs we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our GGS Cookies\, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members for their unwavering support over the years. Your continued encouragement is invaluable as we strive to provide a platform for our girls to hone their leadership\, communication\, and entrepreneurial abilities.  \n  \nThis year’s boxes were inspired by Faheema Sheefa from Anderson Secondary School and Lim Hui Ting from Bedok Green Primary School who took part in the Cookie Design Competition 2023.   \n  \nThe available flavours include: \nMint Flavour                                                                        Choco Cream Flavour \n \nThis year\, the boxes are priced at $17 each (inclusive of GST). In the past\, GGS has absorbed the increase in GST. However\, due to rising production costs and GST\, it is thus necessary to adjust the price of the cookies this year.  \n  \nHere are the details for ordering the cookies: \n\n	Order Period: The cookies will be available for ordering from 18 March to 19 April 2024. Orders will be processed on a first-come first-served basis. You may submit your orders before the closing date but you must remember to click “Orders Complete” to finalise your order.\n	Delivery Period: Deliveries will take place between 2 May 2024 to 18 May 2024.There will be no deliveries during the public and school holidays.\n	Free Delivery: Schools ordering more than 60 boxes will receive free delivery to the school. For orders of fewer than 60 boxes\, Guiders will need to arrange for self-collection from the Guide House.\n	Cookie Fun Patch: Schools averaging more than 5 boxes per girl will receive a cookie fun patch per girl. \n	All orders must be placed through our cookie portal https://www.girlguides.org.sg/cookieshop. Please ensure that you indicate the checkout payment methods and HQ settlement method on the Dashboard page before placing your order. We recommend using Paynow for payment. For any other queries\, please email me at ggscookies@girlguides.org.sg.\n	All Guiders responsible for the portal will receive a separate email containing their login details. Corresponding login information for the girls account will also be sent to the designated email addresses.\n\n  \nThank you and we look forward to your support. Enjoy Cookie Shopping! \n  \nSincerely\,  \n  \nMs Graciela Salcedo Jamero\nSenior Finance Executive\nCorporate Services and Operations

SUMMARY:GGS Public Cooke Sales Project 2023 - Open Call
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders \n  \nOver the years\, Girl Guides Singapore has been providing our girls with the opportunity to develop and hone their communications and entrepreneurial skills with multiple platforms. Last year we launched the public cookie sales in collaboration with NTUC FairPrice and had a series of weekend sales at multiple locations with a very successful outcome.  \n  \nWe will be offering this opportunity out to all schools again this year\, giving your Brownies and Guides the platform to engage with the public\, encourage them to interact and influence the public and in the midst\, gain confidence and experience in customer service\, sales and independence. Our Brownies and Guides had benefitted from the community engagement and the funds raised through the annual public cookie sales. With the funds raised\, GGS was able to develop more REAL activities and programs for our members. \n  \nWe would like to invite your Brownie/Guide Units in the 2023 Public Cookie Sale which will be happening on the following weekends: \n\n	28 and 29 October\n	4\, 5\, 11\, 18 and 19 November\n\n  \nat the Following FairPrice outlets: \n\n	FairPrice Xtra Ang Mo Kio Hub – South\n	FairPrice Xtra Jurong Point – West\n	FairPrice Xtra Parkway Parade – East\n	FairPrice Finest Waterway Point – North\n\n  \nThere will be 2 shifts daily: \n\n	Shift 1 – 9.30am – 1.30pm\n	Shift 2 – 1pm – 5pm\n\nPlease fill out the interest form if you are keen for your unit to take part in this meaningful project.  A briefing session will be conducted for the Guiders in October. Do note that the slots and timing will be based on availability and while we will do our best to give you your preferred options\, we might at times provide you an alternative\, depending on responses received. \n  \nWe look forward to your continued support. \n  \nSincerely\,  \n  \nJalilah Johar\nLead\, Fundraising & Communications
