SUMMARY:National Day Parade (NDP) 2025 Combined Training
DESCRIPTION:Dear Sir/Madam\, \n  \nPlease note the following for the National Day Parade 2025. \n  \n\n	Attendance\n\nParticipation in the National Day Parade 2025 (NDP) requires full commitment of participants. GGS advises that your daughter/ward must be committed to attend all training sessions. This is to ensure that your daughter/ward will be conditioned for the actual parade and minimal disruption to their trainings and rehearsals. Any absence must be accompanied with a valid reason and/or relevant documentation(s). In the event that your daughter/ward will be absent for rehearsal\, she must inform us at the earliest possible for accountability. Poor attendance and performance may result in dismissal from NDP 2025’s participation. \n  \n2. Selection for Main Contingent and Reserves  \nSAF Trainers will take the lead to conduct continual assessment of the girls for this year’s GG NDP contingent. Trainers and GGS would assess participants on a weekly basis for main contingent on actual day. Final participants would be notified on 9 August 2025 as Trainers would re-evaluate after each rehearsal. \n  \n3. NDP Rehearsal Schedule \nDue to varying reasons\, such as haze\, viral outbreaks etc\, the Organising Committee may subject the rehearsal dates to changes or cancellations. Detailed information on the reporting and dismissal timings for trainings will be disseminated to your daughter/ward through their respective Guiders. Do note that reporting and dismissal timing are usually +2hours before and after the stipulated timings reflected in the table below\, subjected to change. Therefore\, your daughter/ward is advised to check with her Guiders regularly for updates. \n  \nTraining Dates (subjected to changes) \n4. For security reasons\, all Guides will have to take the transport provided to/from the training/rehearsal venues. Parents/guardians can only drop-off or fetch your daughter/ward from Girl Guides Singapore HQ.  \n  \n5. Actual Contingent on 9 Aug \nWe understand that participating on actual day is very different from the other shows. However\, due to the required number in the actual contingent\, your daughter/ward may be one of the reserves. Final decision on Girls in the actual contingent lies with SAF Trainers. \n  \nBe assured that your daughter/ward will be in at least one of the following: NE 1 / NE 2 / NE 3 / Preview 1 / Preview 2 / Actual Day. \n  \n6. Things To Bring \n\n	Water Bottle (at least 1 litre\, with name labelled)\n	Ez-link Card (for identification purposes)\n	Personal thermometer\n\n  \nThe NDP Organising Committee and GGS will not be liable for any lost or damage of personal items. \n  \nKindly direct all enquiries to Ms Nabilah Irwani at nabilah@girlguides.org.sg \nThank you for your kind attention.  \n  \nYours-in-Guiding\,  \n  \nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner

SUMMARY:WAGGGS Leadership Model Round 2 Day 2
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience. \n  \nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice. Leadership practice emphasizes on the daily behaviours you choose to engage in to put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your “way s of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader. \n  \nThe WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls\, no matter what age\, can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders. \n  \nTo send your girls for this training\, you can register here.  \n  \nParticipating Guides should be at least Sec 2s and above. Each Unit can send up to 5 Guides for this training. \n  \nThe course will cost $8 / Guide (exclusive of 9% GST). \n  \nEach training will accommodate up to 40 Guides.
