SUMMARY:Care Corner’s Ruckathon for Life 2026
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guides and Young Adults\,  \nAre you ready to Ruck someone’s world? \nOn 28 March\, our partner Care Corner is hosting a Ruckathon— Singapore’s first and only large-scale rucking event. \nJoin us in this historic event as we raise funds to help break cycles of poverty\, frailty and mental health challenges through programmes that support children with learning needs and/or disadvantaged background\, low-income families\, and vulnerable seniors.  \nWhat is rucking? \nRucking is a fitness activity that involves walking with a weighted backpack or rucksack. Through the Ruckathon\, we carry weighted backpacks representing our beneficiaries’ burdens — symbolising our sharing and lightening of their load. \nTogether\, we can uplift lives—one step\, one ruck\, one family at a time. \nCalling all ruck-stars! \nWe’re building a team of Ruck-stars to ruck together – register here with your friends! \nRegister your team here by 10 March. \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to Irie at irie@girlguides.org.sg.  \nSincerely\,  \nMs Ong Zeng Zi and Ms Marie Ong \nGuide Branch Commissioner and Young Adult Branch Commissioner
