DESCRIPTION:The Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Programme (GAP) 2023 is back. Since its launch in 2012\, more than 600 of our Guides have become GB Ambassadors of the award-winning garden. Guides who have completed the programme discovered more about the vast variety of plants and acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nFree Being Me \n  \nThis NEWLY revised activity-based programme will enable the participants to discover that their society\, through media and people around them\, encourages them to try to look like a very narrow definition of beauty. We want to help participants improve their confidence and self-esteem to realise their fullest potential. Through fun and interactive activities\, they will learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies\, standing up to social pressures and supporting others to be more body confident. The programme will challenge them to take the lead by taking action in their community\, sharing what they have learnt with their peers. \n  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising and leadership skills. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nAs the current online mode for the SANA Badge has received positive feedback across the board for its flexibility in completing the readings and assessment.\n\nWe will be scheduling a few months namely\, May\, July 2024 for the girls to partake in the SANA Anti-Drug & Inhalant Abuse Badge Programme.\n\nPlease note that the badge programme will cost $4.36 (inclusive of 9% GST) per Guide and there is no limit to the number of girls you can choose to send.\n\nPlease see the process below:\n1. Register for your girls in Google Form (the deadline for registration for each session is by 10 May and 20 July.\n2. GGS will email SANA with the number of girls for confirmation one week after registration closes.\n3. GGS will then send resources to Guiders the reading materials\, practice link and assessment link before the period.\n4. Guides can do their self-study and login anytime during the period to complete the online assessment. Guides are to practice for the quiz using the practice link before they attempt the actual assessment via the assessment link. Passing mark is 80%.\n5. DESCRIPTION:Girl Guides: Gardens by the Bay Ambassadors Programme 2023 (Round 1) \nThe Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Programme (GAP) 2023 is back. Since its launch in 2012\, more than 600 of our Guides have become GB Ambassadors of the award-winning garden. Guides who have completed the programme discovered more about the vast variety of plants and acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. This is indeed a great learning opportunity for the Guides as they play an active role in one of Singapore’s popular tourist attractions. \nPlease read the details below carefully before committing to this programme. \nGuides will only attain this badge if they complete sessions 1 – 4.\nIf a Guide misses an Ask Me! session\, she will need to do a make-up session based on GBTB’s availability. \nGuides (Round 1) \nNumber of available places: 144\nEach school must send a minimum of 10 Guides and a maximum of 12 Guides.\n(Please send even numbers as Guides will be paired when conducting the Ask Me!
