SUMMARY:WAGGGS Leadership Model Workshop Round 3 (For Guides)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience. \n  \nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice. Leadership practice emphasizes on the daily behaviours you choose to engage in to put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your “way s of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader. \n  \nThe WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls\, no matter what age\, can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders. \n  \nTo send your girls for this training\, you can register here: WAGGGS Leadership Model Virtual Training. \n  \nThe dates of trainings: 31 October & 1 November \n\nParticipating Guides should be at least Sec 2s and above. Each Unit can send up to 6 Guides for this training. \n  \nEach Guide will cost $5. \n  \nEach training will accommodate up to 40 Guides. Availability of slots is based on a first-come\, first-serve basis. \n\nFor any queries\, please contact jasmine@girlguides.org.sg  \n  \nThank you! \n  \nSincerely\, \n  \nJasmine Cheong\nHead\nTraining\, Programmes & Unit Development

SUMMARY:Free Being Me Training for Guides Round 2
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nFree Being Me \n  \nThis NEWLY revised activity-based programme will enable the participants to discover that their society\, through media and people around them\, encourages them to try to look like a very narrow definition of beauty. We want to help participants improve their confidence and self-esteem to realise their fullest potential. Through fun and interactive activities\, they will learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies\, standing up to social pressures and supporting others to be more body confident. The programme will challenge them to take the lead by taking action in their community\, sharing what they have learnt with their peers. \n  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising and leadership skills. They will also learn new ideas that will be useful for running fun and meaningful unit activities using the WAGGGS non-formal educational method. \nRegistration \n\n	Please sign up via this link https://forms.gle/DYSAoPa5qj7qjaLf9 by 28 July 2023 \n	Do register 5 Guides for the training  \n	There will be a charge of $5 per Guide  \n	Slots will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis \n	A Guider from the Unit is required to attend the last segment of the day’s training via Zoom  \n	Kindly direct all queries to linfang@girlguides.org.sg  \n\nYours sincerely\,   \nMs Ong Zeng Zi  \nGuide Branch Commissioner  \n
