DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \nThe PGA is the highest level of achievement for a Girl Guide to work towards. It recognises the strong leadership qualities of the Guide. The Be Prepared Test will take place between Week 1 to Week 5. \nFor the PGA Be Prepared Test\, PGA candidates will be given a task to complete on the spot. \nThey will be expected to handle new / unexpected situations and build up their sense of confidence and self-assuredness when preparing for the test. The test will happen in the month of April. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nWe will be scheduling a few months namely\, May and July 2025 the girls to partake in the SANA Anti-Drug & Inhalant Abuse Badge Programme. \n\nPlease note that the badge programme will cost $5.45 (inclusive of 9% GST) per Guide and there is no limit to the number of girls you can choose to send. \n\nPlease see the process below:\n1. Register for your girls in the Google Form.\n2. GGS will email SANA with the number of girls for confirmation\n3. SANA will then send resources to the girls to complete the badge programme. \n4. Since its launch in 2012\, over 700 Guides have become proud GB Ambassadors\, gaining exclusive knowledge about the garden’s diverse plant life and sustainability efforts.\n\nThis unique programme offers more than just learning—it’s a hands-on experience! Guides will have the opportunity to \n\n🎍 lead garden tours and develop leadership skills\n🗣️ facilitate interactive programmes and develop public speaking skills\n💚 engage visitors and deepen their environmental knowledge\n\nWe invite you to register for Run 2 of the GAP programme — spaces are limited\, so don’t miss out!\n\nRegistration Details: \n\n	Number of available places: 96\n	Each school may send a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 Guides\n\n	(Please send even numbers\, as Guides will be paired for the Ask Me! SUMMARY:Submission deadline: Emergency Preparedness Trooper badge (Run 2)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \nGirl Guides Singapore in collaboration with People’s Association (PA)\, are enhancing youths’ emergency preparedness capabilities by launching the Emergency Preparedness Trooper Badge Programme. \nThis programme is for girls in Secondary 2 and above (Guiders need not be present). Girls must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.  \nPlease note that as part of this badge programme\, the Guides / YAs would be required to complete the following: \n\n	2 days of First-Aid Training and become a certified First-Aider\n	At least 2 events with either People’s Association\, Girl Guides Singapore\, or their school to apply their first-aider skills \n\nThese events include: \n\n	sharing of lifesaving trainings to residents\n	assisting SCDF trainers in the demonstration of CPR-AED techniques and procedures\n	providing first-aid coverage for large scale events.\n\n2 Days’ Training is broken down into \n\n	1 day: self-directed\, virtual learning that the Guide / YA will be required to complete before attending the physical training’s session\n	1 day: physical training for CPR-AED\n\nThe badge is applicable to both a Girl Guide\, Young Adult and Adult Leaders.
