SUMMARY:Action on Body Confidence Training for Guides Round 2 (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nThis activity-based programme focuses on empowering and supporting participants to plan and run their own body confidence advocacy projects so as to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. Through surveys\, discussions and creative activities\, they will uncover the problems that low body confidence causes in the society and ask for change from the decision makers.  \n  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising\, leadership and advocacy skills. They will also learn new ideas that will be useful for running fun and meaningful unit activities using the WAGGGS non-formal educational method. \nPart 1: August 16 @ 2:30 pm – 5:45 pm   \nPart 2: August 23 @ 2:30 pm – 5:45 pm  \n  \nRegistration \n– Guiders can register for up to 5 Guides per school via https://forms.gle/Lzf7GJyAuKAyZSbZ8 by 26 July 2024 \n– $8 / Guide (not inclusive of 9% GST) \n– Slots will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis \n– Kindly direct all queries to linfang@girlguides.org.sg \n  \nThank you. \n  \nSincerely\, \n  \nOng Zeng Zi (Ms)\nGuide Branch Commissioner
