Since its launch in 2012\, more than 600 of our Guides have become GB Ambassadors of the award-winning garden. There will only be 40 places in total. \nRegistration is based on a first-come-first-served and will close once we hit the quota. For registration\, please submit 1 google form per school. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nThe Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Programme (GAP) 2026 is back. Since its launch in 2012\, more than 600 of our Guides have become GB Ambassadors of the award-winning garden. Guides who have completed the programme discovered more about the vast variety of plants and acquired valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the garden. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. This is indeed a great learning opportunity for the Guides as they play an active role in one of Singapore’s popular tourist attractions.\n\nSession 1: Virtual Orientation Session via Microsoft Teams (Compulsory)\n\nDate/Day: 3 Feb 2026\, Tuesday\nTime: 3pm – 4pm (Guides to log on 15 minutes before the start of session)\nMode: Online via Microsoft Teams (Details will be sent upon confirmation)\nAttire: Guides polo t-shirt/Guides-related t-shirt\n\nNote: Guiders must accompany the Guides online. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nThere will be a collaboration with Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) and Pentel Singapore to offer a programme for the East Division Guide units. This collaboration would allow units to earn the Disability Awareness Proficiency Badge. As part of this programme\, Young Adults and Girl Guides will have the opportunity to visit and work with clients from Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) and learn more about the wax resist watercolour painting technique using crayon and watercolours sponsored by Pentel Singapore. \n  \nPart of the programme\, the Art Workshop\, will be girl led and facilitated by Girl Guides from Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School. \n  \nThere will also be a sharing by Down Syndrome Association representatives and their client. Ugly produce is a major contributor to food waste\, and can be caused by over importing\, shipment delays\, man-made causes\, and rules and regulations. This workshop will teach participants how to identify ugly produce\, and how to cook and eat it. Participants will also learn how to reduce food waste in their own homes and businesses. \n\nParticipants are to bring the following items for this session:  \n\n	Water bottle and personal medication\n	Writing materials\n	A light jacket (in case it gets cold)\n	Small lunch box\n	Small butter knife/ bamboo knife\n	In the case of any allergies\, nuts of any kind will not be provided for this session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeminar Programme 2: Female empowerment workshop \n\n\n\n\nThrough an engaging and interactive drama workshop focused on self-empowerment\, the session will explore the concept of healthy relationships and how they can fuel you to achieve dreams and goals. Participants will engage in reflective practice\, share stories\, play games and participate in drama activities where they can uplift and further encourage each other. The theme of the workshop is: Overcoming personal barriers through WAGGGS Leadership Framework. \n  \nThis workshop is specifically designed for Girl Guides aged 14 to 15 years old who have leadership potential. Through various activities\, it aims to break down the common barriers that teenage girls observe or experience and link to WAGGGS leadership mindset. \n  \nThe workshop includes an introduction to the WAGGGS Leadership Framework\, hands-on activities and a guest speaker will be invited to share about their journey in overcoming their own barriers. There will be a post-workshop memento — a self-designed journal that participants can bring home as a reminder to help them to incorporate mindsets. \n  \nBy the end of the workshop\, participants should: \n\n	Gain basic understanding of the WAGGGS leadership mindsets\n	Knowledge on how to incorporate the mindsets into their daily lives\n	Empowered to overcome the personal barriers using the leadership mindsets\n\n  \nEach unit may send up to 5 Guides.
