DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,  \n  \nWe will be having a Yunga Water Challenge Badge for Brownies on 27 July 2024\, Saturday. \n  \nCan you imagine not using any water for a day? It’s almost impossible\, and certainly not comfortable! Almost all human-made objects require the use of water at some point during their manufacture. There is so much water in our everyday lives\, it’s very easy to just take it for granted. It is usually only once the rains stop and fresh water supplies dry up or are polluted that we remember we can’t afford to use water without thinking about how to ensure clean supplies for the future. To work towards providing everyone with enough\, healthy water\, 2013 was chosen to be the International Year of Water Cooperation. Many great initiatives were started – why don’t you get involved too? Let’s think about how to share this precious resource fairly and sustainably. Can you think of some clever ways to help preserve water in your homes? DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,  \n  \nHere are the details for Sixers’ Training Level 2 (Round 1):   \n\n	Date: 27 April 2024 (Sat) \n	Time: 8 am to 3 pm\n	Venue: Camp Christine (Pick-up/ drop-off at Guide House)\n	Fee:  $40/ per Brownie (inclusive of lunch and transport from HQ to Camp Christine and back\, training booklet\, Sixer’s patch and the BP Land Challenge fees.) \n\nThis is an opportunity for Brownies to step out of their comfort zone by participating in the BP Land Challenge and reflecting on their experience using the Reflective Mindset.  They will practice their leadership skills when they plan and conduct an activity together with their teammates and hence practice using the Collaborative Mindset.   \nSince this is a Level 2 training\, Brownies must meet the following criteria:  \n\n	Is a Sixer or Second\n	Have attended GGS-organised Sixer Training before (e.g. 2022 Online Sixer Training) or have completed Sixer Training Level 1 \n\n  \nEach school can send up to 5 Brownies. There will only be 38 places in total. Registration is based on the first-come-first-served and will close once we hit the quota. For registration\, please submit 1 google form per school. We will need a minimum of 20 Brownies to proceed with the event. (Detailed programmes and RAMS will be provided to Guiders who have successfully registered their Brownies)   \n  \nBrownie Guiders need not accompany their girls for the training as there will be HQ trainers and GGS volunteers throughout the session. However if a Guider wants to join the training\, please do take note that the cost per accompanying Brownie Guider is $15. \n  \nAny Brownie who is on MOE FAS will have her course fees fully subsidized. In this programme\, the Brownies who are Smoke Free Ambassadors will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. Through the programme the Brownies are challenge to innovate and create meaningful anti-smoking campaigns to encourage their peers to either quit smoking or not smoke at all. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \n  \nAs Module 2 has been scheduled for October – November\, we would like to use this opportunity to confirm your attendance for camp. \n  \nPre-Pack Holiday Training: \nReport at HQ at 8.15am \nVenue of Training: Camp Christine \nAttire: Guiders T-shirt / Track Pants / Leggings / Berms \nThings to Bring: \n\n	Laptop / PLD\n	Notebook\n	Snacks\n	Water Bottle\n	Mosquito Repellent\n\n  \nPack Holiday from 22 – 24 November 2023 \n\n	Report at Guide House on 22 Nov at 8am\n	Dismissal from Guide House on 24 Sep at 1pm\n	Each Brownie Guider will be bringing 4 – 5 of your Brownies.\n\n\n	These Brownies do not have to pay for anything.\n\n\n\n  \nPlease also be reminded that this will be a 3D2N physical and overnight camp at Camp Christine. \n  \nPlease do the necessary to check with you school leaders to allow you to complete the Module 2.
