DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,  \nHere are the details for Sixers’ Training Level 2 (Round 2):   \n\n	Date: 17 August 2024 (Sat) \n	Time: 8 am to 3 pm\n	Venue: Camp Christine (Pick-up/ drop-off at Guide House)\n	Fee:  $40/ per Brownie (inclusive of lunch and transport from HQ to Camp Christine and back\, training booklet\, Sixer’s patch and the BP Land Challenge fees.) (exc. GST) \n\nThis is an opportunity for Brownies to step out of their comfort zone by participating in the BP Land Challenge and reflecting on their experience using the Reflective Mindset.  They will practice their leadership skills when they plan and conduct an activity together with their teammates and hence practice using the Collaborative Mindset.   \nSince this is a Level 2 training\, Brownies must meet the following criteria:  \n\n	Is a Sixer or Second\n	Have attended GGS-organised Sixer Training before (e.g. 2022 Online Sixer Training) or have completed Sixer Training Level 1 \n\n  \nEach school can send up to 5 Brownies. There will only be 38 places in total. Registration is based on the first-come-first-served and will close once we hit the quota. For registration\, please submit 1 google form per school. We will need a minimum of 20 Brownies to proceed with the event. (Detailed programmes and RAMS will be provided to Guiders who have successfully registered their Brownies)   \n  \nBrownie Guiders need not accompany their girls for the training as there will be HQ trainers and GGS volunteers throughout the session. However if a Guider wants to join the training\, please do take note that the cost per accompanying Brownie Guider is $15 (exc GST). \n  \nAny Brownie who is on MOE FAS will have her course fees fully subsidized. It’s almost impossible\, and certainly not comfortable! Almost all human-made objects require the use of water at some point during their manufacture. There is so much water in our everyday lives\, it’s very easy to just take it for granted. It is usually only once the rains stop and fresh water supplies dry up or are polluted that we remember we can’t afford to use water without thinking about how to ensure clean supplies for the future. To work towards providing everyone with enough\, healthy water\, 2013 was chosen to be the International Year of Water Cooperation. Many great initiatives were started – why don’t you get involved too? Let’s think about how to share this precious resource fairly and sustainably. Can you think of some clever ways to help preserve water in your homes? DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,  \n  \nHere are the details for Sixers’ Training Level 2 (Round 1):   \n\n	Date: 27 April 2024 (Sat) \n	Time: 8 am to 3 pm\n	Venue: Camp Christine (Pick-up/ drop-off at Guide House)\n	Fee:  $40/ per Brownie (inclusive of lunch and transport from HQ to Camp Christine and back\, training booklet\, Sixer’s patch and the BP Land Challenge fees.) \n\nThis is an opportunity for Brownies to step out of their comfort zone by participating in the BP Land Challenge and reflecting on their experience using the Reflective Mindset.  They will practice their leadership skills when they plan and conduct an activity together with their teammates and hence practice using the Collaborative Mindset.   \nSince this is a Level 2 training\, Brownies must meet the following criteria:  \n\n	Is a Sixer or Second\n	Have attended GGS-organised Sixer Training before (e.g. 2022 Online Sixer Training) or have completed Sixer Training Level 1 \n\n  \nEach school can send up to 5 Brownies. There will only be 38 places in total. Registration is based on the first-come-first-served and will close once we hit the quota. For registration\, please submit 1 google form per school. We will need a minimum of 20 Brownies to proceed with the event. (Detailed programmes and RAMS will be provided to Guiders who have successfully registered their Brownies)   \n  \nBrownie Guiders need not accompany their girls for the training as there will be HQ trainers and GGS volunteers throughout the session. However if a Guider wants to join the training\, please do take note that the cost per accompanying Brownie Guider is $15. \n  \nAny Brownie who is on MOE FAS will have her course fees fully subsidized. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \nGGS and Singapore Cancer Society Anti-smoking Ambassador badge programme is into its 9th year and over 1000 girls have completed the programme. In this programme\, the Brownies who are Smoke Free Ambassadors will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. Through the programme the Brownies are challenge to innovate and create meaningful anti-smoking campaigns to encourage their peers to either quit smoking or not smoke at all. Girls who have completed the programme have shown to display creativity in planning their campaign and were effective advocates to  their peers to live a healthy lifestyle.  \nDate/Day: 5 March 2024\, Tuesday\nTime: 2.30pm – 4.30pm \nMode: Virtual (Zoom) \nAttire: Brownie t-shirt\nClosing Date: 20 February 2024 \nNumber of places available: 100  \nPlease take note of the following: \n\n	Brownies must be accompanied by a Guider during the virtual session. \n	Deliverables will require group work. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \n  \nPlease see below for the details of the Chief Commissioner’s Badge Award 2024:   \n\n	CCAB Booklet can be obtained from our GGS website under Resources >> Brownies >> Resources for Guiders >> CCAB Test Booklet (2024)\n\n  \n Here’s a brief timeline of the different stages for CCAB 2024:  \n Stage 1:  \n– Register your Brownies for CCAB ->  Deadline: 24th February 2024 (12pm). Kindly register using this CCAB registration form.   \n– Scrapbook hardcopy submission at Guide House -> Deadline: 24th February 2024 (12pm)  \n Stage 2:   \n– Knowledge of Girl Guiding and Knowledge of Singapore and its people online quiz submission) -> Deadline:  16 March 2024 (Before 5pm)  \n– Brownie can Lead Video + Planning Sheets -> Deadline: 26 March 2024 (Before 5pm)  \n– Reef Knot video online submission -> Deadline: 9th April 2024 (Before 5pm)  \n– I-Plog 2: Recycling Outreach Programme -> Upload photo and reflections on the google drive folder (See page 2 of CCAB Booklet).
