DESCRIPTION:Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Pin Programme 2020 (Brownies)\nWhat can the Brownies achieve from the programme?\n\nBrownies will acquire valuable knowledge on the sustainability efforts of the gardens and discover the vast variety of plants found in the gardens.\n\n1. Gardens By the Bay Ambassador Pin\nBrownies will be trained to conduct a guided tour in the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. After the Ambassador Programme\, they will have to conduct a guided tour to their peers. (1 Trained Brownie: 20 Brownies) to attain the pin at the end.\n*Schools can write in to Gardens By the Bay (education@gardensbythebay.com.sg) 2 weeks prior to their visit to the two conservatories. School may purchase the admission tickets at $6 per Brownie for their Brownie Pack.\n\n2. Gardens By the Bay Interest Badge\nBrownies attending the peer guided tour by the Brownies in the Ambassador programme will receive the Gardens By the Bay Interest badge.\n\n3. New Release*\nThis year\, we will be introducing an extension of the Gardens by the bay programme with a Get Crafty component. DESCRIPTION:Reg Form_FBMABC\n\nDear Brownie Guiders\,\n\n \n\nHQ is organising the WAGGGS Badge Programme : the Free Being Me (FBM) cum the Action on Body Confidence (ABC) to P4 and P5 Brownies.\n\n \n\nThe Free Being Me (FBM)  is a WAGGGS Badge  targets at girls and young women. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\nGGS\, with the support from MOE\, will be conducting workshops on basic facilitation skills for student leaders in the coming months. The workshop is now opened for registration. Guiders can register for up to six P4 & P5 Brownies (Sixers / Seconds / Brownies with potential leadership) per school.\n\nThe objectives of the course as stated by MOE are as follows:\n\n 	Identify     key     beliefs     and     demonstrate behaviours of a learning facilitator\n 	Use a variety of facilitation strategies to make learning engaging\n 	Conduct conversations and energizers in a structured and meaningful manner\n 	Adapt activities to achieve the outcomes of a Brownies/Guides session and meet the needs of the learners\n 	Design questions to conduct reflection and review of lessons learnt\n\n Approach for the workshops:\n\n 	Role-Modelling – Trainer will role-model facilitation via explicit demonstrations of the strategies throughout the entire workshop. In addition\, they also gained experience by conducting garden tours as well as facilitating and delivering programmes amidst the beautiful setting. The theme was Lead Out Loud and focused on WAGGGS new leadership model and breaking gender barriers to leadership. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,\n\nWe are pleased to share with you that Girl Guides Singapore has collaborated with Singapore Kindness Movement for a Kindness Badge (KB) moving forward in 2020.\n\nSimilar to the Kindness Badge Award for secondary school students\, KB Junior is a badge programme unique to Uniformed Group members from the different primary school division. Students who achieve the badge will be identified as Ambassadors of Kindness who have demonstrated their passion and commitment in promoting kindness among their peers\, within their schools and to their families and communities.\n\nThe programme is split into two levels – Basic and Advanced; students may choose to complete the Advanced badge after completing the Basic level. Please see attached for a presentation deck on the programme.\n\nThe programme will start effective in January 2020.
