DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \n\nGirl Guides Singapore is adopting the WAGGGS Leadership Model as part of our core Girl Guides Experience.\n\nThis Leadership Model is a model of leadership practice which emphasizes on the daily behaviours one chooses to engage in as well as the values put into action creating a positive change. Leadership practice regards your “ways of being and thinking about the world” as the foundation to who you are as a leader. The WAGGGS leadership model uses a system of six mindsets as the main tool to make leadership practice conscious. We believe that girls can consciously practice their leadership to become better leaders.\n\nThe training session (6 Mindsets) will be covered over 2 compulsory days: 3 April (Thursday) and 4 April (Friday). \nDate: 3 April & 4 April\, Thurs & Fri\nTime: 3.00pm – 5.00pm\nFormat: Zoom\n\n*No. of Brownies :  Maximum of 5 Brownies per school (Registration is based on the first-come-first-served)\n\nThe cost fees per Brownies is $8 excluding 9% GST.\n\nPayment will be IFAASed to the schools after the course. Please do take note that any successfully registered Brownies who did not attend either or both sessions will still be charged unless they have a valid MC. \n\nDeadline to register: 22 February 2025\, Saturday.\n \nConfirmation Email with zoom links will be provided the day after deadline closes. \n\nPlease submit 1 google form per school.\n\n \nThank you! \n \nSincerely\,\n \nSamsia Sulaiman (Mdm)\nBrownie Branch Commissioner

SUMMARY:Brownies Sixers’ Training Course Level 2 Round 1
DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \n  \nHere are the details for Sixers’ Training Level 2 (Round 2):   \n\n	Date: 26 April 2025\, Saturday\n	Time: 8am – 3pm\n	Venue: Camp Christine (Pick-up/ drop-off at Guide House)\n	Fee:  $40/ per Brownie (inclusive of lunch and transport from HQ to Camp Christine and back\, training booklet\, Sixer’s patch and the BP Land Challenge fees.) (exc. GST)\n\n  \nThis is an opportunity for Brownies to step out of their comfort zone by participating in the BP Land Challenge and reflecting on their experience using the Reflective Mindset.  They will practice their leadership skills when they plan and conduct an activity together with their teammates and hence practice using the Collaborative Mindset. \n  \nSince this is a Level 2 training\, Brownies must meet the following criteria:  \n\n	Is a Sixer or Second\n	Have attended GGS-organised Sixer Training or have completed Sixer Training Level 1 \n\n  \nEach school can send up to 5 Brownies. There will only be 40 places in total. Registration is based on the first-come-first-served and will close once we hit the quota. For registration\, please submit 1 google form per school. We will need a minimum of 20 Brownies to proceed with the event. (Detailed programmes and RAMS will be provided to Guiders who have successfully registered their Brownies)   \n  \nBrownie Guiders need not accompany their girls for the training as there will be HQ trainers and GGS volunteers throughout the session. However if a Guider wants to join the training\, please do take note that the cost per accompanying Brownie Guider is $15 (exc GST). \n  \nPlease note that billing will be based strictly on the number of participants registered for the event\, as the fees are subsidised by GGS. In the event of a no-show\, the full fee will remain payable by the school or individual participant.\n\nStudents under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme\, students can seek support from the Masonic Charitable Fund to cover their full fees and be fully subsidised.
