Brownie Awards Ceremony 2023

Dear School Leaders and Brownie Guiders,

We would like to cordially invite you to the Brownie Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 22 July at 9 am at the Guide House. This ceremony aims to celebrate the successes of all our Brownies, Brownie Guiders and Brownie Units.

The following awards are conferred to the Brownies, Guiders and Brownie Units:

1. Puan Noor Aishah (PNA) Award:The Puan Noor Aishah Award is a prestigious award presented to all Brownie Units that have fulfilled the criteria set by Girl Guides Singapore to recognize outstanding and effective units.

2. Chief Commissioner’s Award:This award is presented annually to outstanding and exemplary Brownies. It is the highest level of achievement that a Brownie can attain in her Guiding journey at the primary school level. It recognises the leadership qualities of the Brownie and one who has demonstrated strength of character and moral integrity, commitment to the Brownie Promise, Motto and Laws as well as being proficient in the five point program. 

3. Adult Leaders’ Award:

• Palm Leaf Award: It is conferred on uniformed members who have rendered meritorious or outstanding service to the Association.
• Long Service Award: It is awarded to members who have rendered at least 5 years of active service to the Association. This award is given out every 5 years.
• Asia Pacific Leadership Award: The WAGGGS Asia Pacific Leadership Award for Troop Leaders is conferred on Guiders to recognize the high standards of achievement of adult members in their respective roles as they carry out the mission of World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

Invitation cards will be sent out to the respective Award Recipients.
