SUMMARY:Baden-Powell Award (BPA) Run 2 Written Test
DESCRIPTION:  \nDear Guide Guiders\,\n\nPlease be reminded that with effect from 2020\, BPA is a pre-requisite for application for the President’s Guide Award (PGA).\n\nApplicants who failed the BPA test for the first time will be allowed a second chance to take the BPA test. Each Guide will be given a maximum of TWO times to sit for the test.\n\nThe Baden-Powell Award (BPA) is the highest award given out by our Chief Commissioner to a Girl Guide.\n\nAll applicants must:\n• be below 18 years old in the year of the test;\n• be members of registered Coys of GGS;\n• be deemed by their Guider to have developed to their fullest leadership potential;\n• have attained at least a Silver Badge;\n• have attained any six badges including a Proficiency Badge\, a WAGGGS Badge\, and an Interest Badge. (Eight Proficiency/ Interest Badges will be allowed for the transition year of 2026)  \n\nBelow is the information pertaining to the written for Run 2:\n\nWritten Test Date:10 Jul 2026\, Friday\nReporting Time: 2.30 pm\nTime: 3pm – 5.30pm (written test)\nVenue: Virtual via Zoom\nAttire: Full Guide Uniform (Compulsory)\n(Please note that Guides who are late or inappropriately attired will not be allowed to sit for the test.)\n\n \nThings to bring for the Written Test (Virtual) \n\n	School Calendar (Semester 2 is enough. This will be submitted together with answer script)\n	Copy of 5-Point Programme Modules & Clauses  (BPA 5-Point Programme)\n	GGS Calendar (Semester 2 is enough)\n	Blank BPA Template (On Google Doc / Word Format)\n\nPlease note that this test will be conducted online requiring the girls to upload their soft copy of their documents onto a Google Form for the final submission.\n\nFor Guiders sending your Guides for this test\, please note that you are required to send a qualified tester from your school.\n\nThe tester will have to attend the compulsory BPA scripts markings on either  17 or 18 July 2026. \nFor every three BPA applications\, the Unit must provide one BPA tester.\n\nThank you.\n\n\nSincerely\,\n\nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner
