The activities are designed especially for young women and girls who are ready to discover\, create and innovate. 🤩 \nAs part of this initiative\, participants will take part in the AIM (AI & Me) Programme\, a United Women Singapore Empowered initiative designed to equip youth aged 9–21 with the knowledge\, critical thinking\, and ethical awareness needed to navigate the rapidly evolving world of Generative AI (Gen AI). Blending digital literacy with empowerment\, the programme helps young people understand what AI can do\, and how to use it responsibly\, creatively\, and confidently. \nIf you do not already know\, United Women Singapore is a non-profit organisation working to advance women’s empowerment and gender equality. \nFrom interactive workshops to learning about emerging fields like AI\, technology\, engineering\, data\, sustainability and innovation\, this badge is all about sparking curiosity and building confidence! We are excited to bring back STEM Day in 2026\, an enhanced and immersive experience designed for Guides to complete their STEM Changemakers badge in a fun\, meaningful\, and collaborative way. \nBuilding on the STEM Changemakers Programme by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)\, this year’s STEM Day offers even more opportunities for hands-on learning\, exploration\, and innovation. \n  \nWhat is STEM Day 2026? \nSTEM Day 2026 is a large-scale platform where Guides from across units come together to experience STEM beyond the classroom\, completing Levels 3 and 4 of the badge. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate \n\n\n6 June 2026 (Saturday) \n\n\n\n\nReporting Time \n\n\n8.15am at Guide House \n\n\n\n\nDismissal Time \n\n\n4.00pm at Guide House \n\n\n\n\nVenue \n\n\nScience Centre Singapore (Two-way transport provided) \nGuides may report directly at Science Centre by 9.15am and will be dismissed from Science Centre at 3pm. \n\n\n\n\nAttire \n\n\nGuides Polo with Long Pants and Covered Shoes \n\n\n\n\nThings to bring \n\n\nWater bottle\, writing materials and any personal medication (if required) \n\n\n\n \n\nLunch will be provided. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nSTEM Day Programme Highlights: \n\n	Amazing Race @ Science Centre Singapore\nGuides will explore exhibits in teams\, solving clues and completing interactive tasks. \n	Innovation Challenge\nGuides will go through a Design Thinking process to tackle real-world challenges\, developing creative solutions and building confidence as changemakers.\n\n  \nHow do Guides complete the badge? \nAs STEM Day will focus on Level 3 and 4 activities only\, Guides must first complete the following before attending STEM Day: \n\n	Level 1: STEM Avatars\n	Level 2: Traffic Light Challenge\n\nTo support units\, we will also be conducting an online session for Guides to complete Levels 1 and 2\, ensuring everyone is well-prepared before the event. \n*Guides who have already completed or are in the process of completing Level 1 & 2 with their Units do not need to attend this session. \n  \nOnline Session Details:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate \n\n\n5 June 2026 (Friday) \n\n\n\n\nTime \n\n\n9.30am to 11am \n\n\n\n \n\nZoom link will be sent to participants 1 week before.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nSounds Exciting!
