DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \nThe PGA is the highest level of achievement for a Girl Guide to work towards. It recognises the strong leadership qualities of the Guide. The Be Prepared Test will take place between Week 1 to Week 5. \nFor the PGA Be Prepared Test\, PGA candidates will be given a task to complete on the spot. \nThey will be expected to handle new / unexpected situations and build up their sense of confidence and self-assuredness when preparing for the test. The test will happen in the month of April. SUMMARY:WAGGGS STEM Changemakers Online Training For Guiders
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,  \nWe are excited to share that we will be having our final round of online training sessions for Guiders! By attending this training\, your Guides will be able to be more involved in the STEM Changemakers activities during HQ level events. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!  \nThe STEM Changemakers Programme is an exciting initiative developed by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts\, applying the Growing and Learning Framework. It empowers girls and young women to explore the world of STEM through fun\, engaging\, and purpose-driven learning experiences. The programme also focuses on equipping young people with the knowledge\, confidence\, and leadership to see themselves as future changemakers in STEM.  \nHow do Guides earn the badge? \nTo earn the badge\, Guides will have to complete three interactive activities from the activity booklet\, and a hands-on STEM Challenge. These activities allow participants to discover what STEM means\, how STEM skills are part of their everyday lives\, and how these skills can be used to address global challenges. SUMMARY:WAGGGS Training for MYP (Meaningful Youth Participation) & G4GE
DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie and Guide Guiders\, \nWe invite you to register for an upcoming training conducted by our trainer from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) on the Meaningful Youth Participation (MYP) Training. \n \n\nWhat is MYP? \nMeaningful Youth Participation is an important part of Girl Guides. It means that girls and young women do not only take part in activities\, they are also considered experts in their own lives\, and are informed\, empowered\, safe and valued when they participate. They are supported to be involved in decision making around their own activities and can shape the space they grow and learn best in! \nThis training will take you through the WAGGGS Framework for Meaningful Youth Participation to set you up with the tools to support your girl guides. You will have the opportunity to share your own experiences and hear from fellow girl guide leaders\, and find ways together to empower girls to make decisions and lead their girl scouting journeys! \nThe Trainer is part of G4GE (Girls 4 Green Energy) Launch in Singapore  \n\nG4GE focuses on empowering girls within the STEM sector\, encouraging them to become leaders in sustainability and technology. In Singapore\, girls have participated in “Minecraft Education: Planet Rescuers\,” exploring renewable energy challenges virtually and building hydropower prototypes in real life — emerging as “Green Heroes” who lead and collaborate on green energy solutions.
