SUMMARY:President's Guide Award (PGA) Planning & Organisation (P&O) Test Camp
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\nThe President’s Guide Award (PGA) Committee is looking for Brownies and Guides to participate in an upcoming Planning & Organisation Test Camp. The PGA candidates will take on different camp staff roles\, plan and execute the 3D2N camp for the participants to advocate for outdoor learning or create their own social action project.\n\nEach school can register for up to 5 participants (girls who show leadership potential). A Guider per school is required to attend the camp with her girls and assist as a Chaperon / Tester.\n\nDo note that this camp will run during the fasting month. Girls who are participating should be able to endure the challenges of the camp. \n\nDate of Camp: 14 – 16 March 2026 (full attendance is required)\nVenue: Camp Christine\nCost for Participants (Brownie / Guide): $80/pax ($87.20 including 9% GST)\nCost for Brownie / Guide Guider: NIL\nReporting details: 8:00 am at Guide House (HQ) on 14 March 2026 (Saturday)\nDismissal details: 1:00 pm from Camp Christine or 2:00 pm from Guide House (HQ) on 16 March 2026 (Monday) \nIf you are interested\, please register here by 10 February 2026. \nPlease note that billing will be based strictly on the number of participants registered for the event\, as the fees are subsidised by GGS. SUMMARY:WCEH International Conference: Physical Conference
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guides and Young Adults\, \n\nWe are pleased to present “Women of Change: Empowering Her”\, an international conference initiated and hosted by YAs in Singapore.  The programme will consist of two virtual workshops on 11 and 18 January 2026\, followed by an in-person conference from 14 March to 16 March 2026. \n\n“Women of Change: Empowering Her” is an international programme dedicated to championing gender equality. It will serve as a platform to inspire\, equip and empower young women with the knowledge\, skills and confidence to advocate for gender equality – in alignment with SDG 5: Gender Equality and the WAGGGS leadership mindset on Gender Equality.\n\nThrough workshops and conference sessions\, participants will engage with industry professionals\, exchange stories with like-minded young women from diverse cultural backgrounds\, and build a strong network of passionate changemakers. Furthermore\, this programme will provide a safe and empowering space for discussion\, ideation and the development of initiatives that break down gender barriers. The overview and details of the programme can be found in this link.\n\nUltimately\, we hope that this will create opportunities for all young women to thrive and develop their fullest potential in a more equitable world. After the event\, participants will be expected to complete a community impact project within their own Member Organisation / local community. More information on the impact project will be released at a later date.\n\nParticipation is open to all GGS Girl Members members aged 15 to 25. \n\nThe event fee is SGD250 per participant. DESCRIPTION:<Training has been postponed to 16 May 2026\, Saturday> \nDear Guiders / Adult Leaders\,\n\nGirl Guides Singapore (GGS) will be conducting the Basic Training Course (BTC) in March–July 2026 for all Adult Leaders leading the Brownies / Girl Guides’ programme in School.\n\nThe BTC is a compulsory training course for all teachers who are appointed as Guiders for the school CCA\, Brownies / Girl Guides and for any Young Adult who wishes to become a warranted Guider. This course will equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to value-add and lead the Brownies / Girl Guides programmes in their Units. The course consists of 3 modules.
