SUMMARY:Baden Powell Award (BPA) Run 1 Written Test
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nPlease be reminded that with effect from 2020\, BPA is a pre-requisite for application for the President’s Guide Award (PGA).\n\nApplicants who failed the BPA test for the first time will be allowed a second chance to take the BPA test. Each Guide will be given a maximum of TWO times to sit for the test.\n\nThe Baden-Powell Award (BPA) is the highest award given out by our Chief Commissioner to a Girl Guide.\n\nAll applicants must:\n• be below 18 years old in the year of the test;\n• be members of registered Coys of GGS;\n• be deemed by their Guider to have developed to their fullest leadership potential;\n• have attained at least a Silver Badge;\n• have attained any eight Proficiency / Interest Badges.\n\nBelow is the information pertaining to the written for Run 1:\n\nWritten Test Date: 23 Jan 2026\, Friday\nReporting Time: 2.30 pm\nTime: 3pm – 5.30pm (written test)\nVenue: Virtual via Zoom\nAttire: Full Guide Uniform (Compulsory)\n(Please note that Guides who are late or inappropriately attired will not be allowed to sit for the test.)\n\nThe deadline for BPA Run 1 Registration is 5pm\, 10 January 2026. Please submit your registrations here: BPA 2026 R1 Registration\n\nThings to bring for the Written Test (Virtual) \n\n	School Calendar (Semester 1 is enough. This will be submitted together with answer script)\n	Copy of 5-Point Programme Modules & Clauses (attached in this email) 09 BPA 5-Point Programme\n	GGS Calendar (Semester 1 is enough)\n	Blank BPA Template (On Google Doc / Word Format)\n\nPlease note that this test will be conducted online requiring the girls to upload their soft copy of their documents onto a Google Form for the final submission.\n\nFor Guiders sending your Guides for this test\, please note that you are required to send a qualified tester from your school.\n\nThe tester will have to attend the compulsory BPA scripts markings on either 30 and/or 31 January 2026.\n\nFor every three BPA applications\, the Unit must provide one BPA tester.\n\nThank you.\n\n\nSincerely\,\n\nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner

DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,\n\nHow equipped are your girls to handle the online world?\n\nWhile we may be no strangers to digital wellness\, whether that’s restricting our screentime or learning to set aside the unrealistic standards we are bombarded with\, our Guides are still encountering these for the first time. \nIn this free workshop\, girls will learn strategies for positive digital habits and digital tools for mental health support.
