DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nA gentle reminder that all Guiders sending their Guides for the Baden-Powell Award (BPA) are required to attending this benchmarking session on either 6 or 7 February. \n  \nPlease choose between the both dates: \n6 February 2025\, Thursday\, 3pm – 5pm (via Zoom) \n7 February 2025\, Friday\, 2.30pm – 4.30pm (via Zoom) \n  \nFor more details\, please see below.  \n  \nPlease be reminded that with effect from 2020\, BPA is a pre-requisite for application for the President’s Guide Award (PGA). \n  \nApplicants who failed the BPA test for the first time will be allowed a second chance to take the BPA test. Each Guide will be given a maximum of TWO times to sit for the test. \n  \nThe Baden-Powell Award (BPA) is the highest award given out by our Chief Commissioner to a Girl Guide.\nAll applicants must:\n• be below 18 years old in the year of the test;\n• be members of registered Coys of GGS;\n• be deemed by their Guider to have developed to their fullest leadership potential;\n• have attained at least a Silver Badge;\n• have attained any eight Proficiency / Interest Badges. \n  \nBelow is the information pertaining to the written and execution test for Round 1:\nWritten Test date: 24 Jan 2025\, Friday\nExecution Test date: To be completed by: 30 May 2025\nReporting Time: 2.30 pm\nTime: 3 pm – 5 pm (written test)\nVenue: Virtual\nAttire: Full Guide Uniform (Compulsory)\nPlease note that Guides who are late or inappropriately attired will not be allowed to sit for the test. \nPlease submit your registrations here: BPA 2025 R1 Registration  \n  \nThe deadline for BPA Round 1 Registration is 12pm\, 10 January 2025. \n  \nThings to bring for the Written Test (Virtual)\n• School Calendar (Semester 1 is enough. This will be submitted together with answer script)\n• Copy of 5-Point Programme Modules & Clauses (attached in this email) 09 BPA 5-Point Programme\n• GGS Calendar (Semester 1 is enough)\n• Blank BPA Template (On Google Doc / Word Format) \nPlease note that this test will be conducted online requiring the girls to upload their soft copy of their documents onto a Google Form for the final submission. \n  \nFor Guiders sending your Guides for this test\, please note that you are required to send a qualified tester from your school. The tester will have to attend the compulsory BPA scripts markings on either 7 or 8 February 2025.
