DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders / Young Adults\, \n  \nGIRL Adventure: CEYLONA 2024 International Camp \nWith the theme of Explore – Discover – Connect\, CEYLONA 2024 offers a holistic experience combining adventure\, cultural immersion\, and skill-building. By engaging in activities related to WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) and UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)\, participants will not only expand their knowledge but also develop a sense of global citizenship and responsibility. Participants will be empowered to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to initiate projects within their units and communities\, foster leadership and proactive engagement. \n  \nCEYLONA 2024 serves as a dynamic platform for growth\, connection\, and meaningful contribution. It showcases how experiential learning can shape young minds and inspire them to become agents of change in the world. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nNational Camp 2024 (NC24) is organized by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in collaboration with various Uniformed Groups\, including The Boys’ Brigade (BB)\, The Girls’ Brigade (GB)\, Girl Guides Singapore (GGS)\, National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC)\, National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC)\, Red Cross Youth (RCY)\, Singapore Scouts Association (SSA) and St. John Brigade (SJB). \n  \nThe event is scheduled to take place from 21 to 24 August 2024 at Maju Camp. \n  \nTHEME \nThe theme “United in Diversity” reflects the key objectives of fostering a deeper sense of national identity\, emphasizing the significance of individuals being interconnected within our diverse society and beyond\, and instilling a commitment to actively contribute to Total Defence for ensuring Singapore’s safety and security. \n  \nAIM \nNC24 will be a unique platform for youths from different UGs to interact\, foster friendships and camaraderie. Participants will engage in outdoor and leadership challenges\, gaining insights into contemporary issues impacting Singapore. \n  \nDATE\, TIME AND ATTIRE \nNC24 is scheduled to take place from 21 to 24 August 2024 at Maju Camp. SUMMARY:Action on Body Confidence Training for Guides Round 2 (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nThis activity-based programme focuses on empowering and supporting participants to plan and run their own body confidence advocacy projects so as to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. Through surveys\, discussions and creative activities\, they will uncover the problems that low body confidence causes in the society and ask for change from the decision makers.  \n  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising\, leadership and advocacy skills.
