DESCRIPTION:Dear East Division Guiders\,\n \nThis is an open call for units who are interested to host and facilitate the East Division Learning Week Workshops/Learning Journeys. You may choose any day within the week to host your activity between 29 July to 3 August. \n \nThe theme for EDLW this year is Girls Navigating Towards a Sustainable Future.\nDate: Any day between 29 July to 3 Aug 2024\nTime: 2-3 hours (hosting school to decide exact time)\nMode: Face 2 Face or Virtual\nVenue: Zoom or other locations (to be confirmed on a later date)\n \nThis year\, we would like the Brownies & Guides who are facilitating the workshops or Learning Journey to decide on what they want to conduct based on their interests. Our objective is for the girls to take the lead to create workshops or learning journeys that are learner led\, relatable and exciting for the division.\n \nThe workshops or Learning Journey may include any 5-point programme\, SDGs\, Advocacy\, YUNGA badges\, Craft\, wide games\, sharing of good practices\, or fun and relevant skills that they might be interested to share. \n \nYou may also plan a learning journey at a location of your choice to conduct fun activities such as hiking trails\, plogging\, outdoor skills\, wide games.\n \nEach unit may conduct more than 1 workshop. \nUnits holding workshops may claim PNAA under Division Yeoman.\n \nUnder Division Yeoman\nDivision Activity/ Event indicate –\nF2F: Hosting School – East Division Learning Week\nVirtual: Facilitate Virtual Workshop – East Division Learning Week\n \nClosing: 2 July 2024\n\n \nPlease register here if you are interested to host a workshop.\n\n \nWe will contact the guiders for confirmation by 5th July.\n\n \n \nSincerely\,\n \n \nMs Titiek Farhana\nEast Division Commissioner\nGirl Guides Singapore
