DESCRIPTION:Dear South Division Guiders\, \nWe are pleased to announce the pre-planning of South Division Day has started. \n\n \n\nThe South Division Day that will take place on Fri\, 19 April 2024. \nLocation: To be confirmed\n\nTime: 2:30pm – 5:30pm \n \n\nWe would like all Units who are intending to attend to submit one Google Form per Unit: South Division Day 2024 Preparation Form \n \n\nWe are currently looking for the following:\n1. Registration \n\nPlease provide a preliminary no. of Girls attending SDD from your unit via this Google Form.\n\n \n\n2. Submission for Competition Ideas\nDetails to note for Units that are keen to host competitions:\n1. Competition must be for both Brownies and Guides. \n2. Duration of competition including judging : not longer than 1.5hours\n3. Max. of 8 competitions for South Division Day 2024 with 4 winning tier – 1st to 4th place. \n4. Each Competition can take up to a max. of 20 teams (Brownies & Guides inclusive). \n5. Rubrics should be tweaked slightly to cater for Brownies & Guides to be judged based on their age group.\n6. One google form per competition.\n7. Unit will also be required to get their own Guiders as judges. If you do not have enough Guiders as judges\, please let us know in the google form.\n \nPlease submit the competition details by Wed\, 23 March 2024\, 1800hrs.\n \nRegistration for competitions will be populated via Google Sheet for sign-ups on a first-come first-served basis from Mon\, 25 March 2024 till Sat\, 13 April 2024.\n\n \n\n\n\n3. Engagement Activity (Can Use WTD Education Booth)\n3.1. Units that are keen to share what they have done for WTD Educational Booth can sign up via this form to express interest. \n3.2. GGS will send a confirmation to the interested Units with a specific budget allocated for resource purposes. \n \n\n\n\nUnits that wish to submit for both competition and engagement activities may do so. However\, the confirmed schools will be listed in the link here\n\n\n \n4. Other Division Yeoman Service (for Units Not Choosing Competitions or Engagement activities)\nSchools not submitting for either of the above can choose to assist in the following areas instead. Please indicate the necesary in the google form above.\n\n\n\n	Registration (4 Guides)\n	Emcees (Two Brownies and Two Guides)\n	Prize Presenters (2 Brownies\, 2 Guides)\n	First-Aiders (Guides / Adult Leaders with First-Aid Certification)\n	Judges (Adult Leaders only)\n	Post event clean-up (10 Brownies and 10 Guides)\n\n\nYeoman Service is based on a first-come\, first-serve basis. To provide more opportunities for other schools\, each school can only choose one role to participate in.\n \n5.
