DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\,\n\nAs the current online mode for the SANA Badge has received positive feedback across the board for its flexibility in completing the readings and assessment.\n\nWe will be scheduling a few months namely\, March\, May and October in 2023 for the girls to partake in the SANA Anti-Drug & Inhalant Abuse Badge Programme.\n\nPlease note that the badge programme will cost $4.00 / Guide and there is no limit to the number of girls you can choose to send.\n\nPlease see the process below:\n1. Register for your girls in Google Form (the deadline for registration for each session is by end of Feb\, Apr and Jul)\n2. GGS will email SANA with the number of girls for confirmation\n3. GGS will then send resources to Guiders the reading materials\, practice link and assessment link before the period.\n4. Guides can do their self-study and login anytime during the period to complete the online assessment. Guides are to practice for the quiz using the practice link before they attempt the actual assessment via the assessment link. Passing mark is 80%.\n5. DESCRIPTION:Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Programme 2023 (Brownies) \nWhat can the Brownies achieve from this programme?\nBrownies will visit the Flower Dome and acquire valuable knowledge about this cooled conservatory and discover the vast variety of plants found here. \n1. Gardens by the Bay Ambassador Pin Badge\nBrownies will be trained to conduct a guided tour of the Flower Dome. Each Brownie will attain the Gardens by the Bay Ambassador pin badge upon completion of the training. Trained Brownies will have to conduct a guided tour for their peers (1 Trained Brownie: 20 Brownies). \nSchools can write in to Gardens by the Bay (education@gardensbythebay.com.sg) 2 weeks prior to their visit to the Flower Dome to purchase concession rate admission tickets to the Flower Dome. The tickets are at $4 per Brownie for their Brownie Pack. \n2. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,  \nGGS and Singapore Cancer Society Anti-smoking Ambassador badge programme is into its 8th year and over 1000 girls have completed the programme. In this programme\, the Guides who are Smoke Free Ambassadors will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. Through the programme the Guides are challenge to innovate and create meaningful anti-smoking campaigns to encourage their peers to either quit smoking or not smoke at all. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \nAction on Body Confidence \nThis activity-based programme focuses on empowering and supporting participants to plan and run their own body confidence advocacy projects so as to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. Through surveys\, discussions and creative activities\, they will uncover the problems that low body confidence causes in the society and ask for change from the decision makers.  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising\, leadership and advocacy skills.
