SUMMARY:Free Being Me training for Adult Leaders (Pilot)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nWe are excited to share that WAGGGS has launched a revised Free Being Me Programme\, which is exciting\, refreshing and interactive to meet the current needs of our girls. \n  \nGGS will adopt the revised Free Being Me (FBM) Programme starting in 2023. \n  \nGGS is organising a Free Being Me training for Adult Leaders in January 2023. We would like to invite you to join us in the pilot training and be part of a pool of facilitators who will work along with the HQ trainers to conduct the revised FBM training for the girls (Brownies & Guides). \n  \nThe details of the upcoming training are as follows : \nTopic : Free Being Me training (for Adult Leaders) \nDate : 7 January 2023 (Saturday) \nTime : 9:00 am – 5:00 pm \nVenue : Guide House (9 Bishan Street 14 Singapore 579785) \nTea-break & lunch (halal) will be provided \n  \nDo sign up via this link https://forms.gle/CatrjGXVEdN5LbtU7 by 30 December 2022 if you are keen to attend the training.  \n  \nIn line with WAGGGS guidelines\, FBM training for the girls will be conducted by Trained Adult leaders only. Both Brownies and Guides will now have to go through FBM training before they can attend the Action on Body Confidence (ABC) training. This is to ensure that the girls are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to attend ABC training. DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, Young Adults\, GGS Members and Staff\, \n  \nGirl Guides Singapore (GGS) is happy to share that we have been appointed as the only Local Implementing Partner in Singapore to support the ASEAN Cybersecurity Skilling Programme (ASEAN CSP) under the ASEAN Foundation.  \n  \nIn line with one of our key focus of Gender Equality (Sustainable Development Goal #5)\, GGS hopes to create a greater interest and raise awareness in digital literacy\, internet safety\, cyber security among girls and young women. The ASEAN CSP aims to enhance the capacities of the ASEAN teachers\, NGO/CSO facilitators\, educators\, youth job seekers and fresh graduates across 7 ASEAN-Member States to build a digital ecosystem for the ASEAN community on cybersecurity. \n  \nWe would like to invite you to collaborate with us in the ASEAN CSP. We hope to get your involvement as a Beneficiary receiving knowledge on Cybersecurity through the Empowerment Sessions facilitated by Master Trainers through a series of self-directed and synchronous outreach sessions.  \n  \nParticipants will have potential regional exposure\, access to ASEAN Foundation’s huge network and can look forward to access to Microsoft’s resources on Cybersecurity. All participants will receive an e-certificate and a souvenir patch upon completion of the programme.  \n  \nFor the Beneficiaries\, here are the additional sessions in 2023.
