SUMMARY:SYFC Learning Journey for Sec 4 Guides (30 Nov)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\,  \n  \nWe are pleased to inform you that we will be having a pilot workshop with Singapore Youth Flying Club in November 2022.  \n  \nThese workshops are a collaborative effort with SYFC to inspire more girls to explore options in STEM and in the aviation industry. \nAs this is a very special programme\, we are only able to take a very small group of girls. Please see the criteria below. \n\n	Each school can only send 2 Guides.\n	These 2 Guides must at at least have held the position of Assistant Company Leader (ACL) or Company Leader (CL).\n	Participants Guides must adhere by the pre-requisite / guidelines provided by SYFC (see below)\n\n  \nPlease see programme below. \nDate: 29 OR 30 Nov\, 8.30am – 12.30pm\nAttire: Guides T-shirt\, long pants\, covered shoes (no exposed feet)\nThings to bring: \n\n	Own snacks and drinks\n	Writing materials\n\nPre-requisite: \n\n	Assistant Company Leader or Company Leader.\n	Less than 600 degrees max myopia and 200deg max astigmatism on each eye\n	No color blindness\n\n  \nProgramme Outline: \n9am – Introduction to SYFC and flight training \n9.30am – Introduction to principles of flight \n10.30am – Experience DA40 VR flight simulation \n11.30am – View DA40 aircraft and introduction to aircraft systems (in hangar) \n12pm – Debrief & Q&A \n  \nThis is a first-come\, first-serve basis.
