SUMMARY:Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme (4th run)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \nMental health is everyone’s business. Awareness on mental health is important in order to remove stigma and extend help to those in need. \nGirl Guides Singapore has launched the Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme in 2021. It is created for the Guides to equip them with the mental health knowledge and skills as well as support them to initiate ground-up mental health projects to increase mental health awareness among their peers\, family and community. We want our girls to be mindful of the current situation and become responsible citizens who will take action to change the world by advocating for mental health to improve the lives of others. \nTo date\, Guides from the different Units have participated in 3 runs of the Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme. The next run is going to kick off with the Mentally LIT training which will be held at Guide House on 21 & 22 June 2022\, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (both days). Guiders can register for 5 or 6 girls per Unit via this link https://forms.gle/R95eZNXi4Z9p6WB99 (registration is closed). \nFor further queries\, please contact Lin Fang at linfang@girlguides.org.sg \nThank you. \nSincerely\, \nMs Ong Zeng Zi\nGuide Branch Commissioner
