SUMMARY:Smoke-Free Ambassador Badge Programme Round 2
DESCRIPTION:GGS and Singapore Cancer Society Anti-smoking Ambassador badge programme is into its 9th year and about 900 girls have completed the programme. In this programme\, the Guides who are Smoke Free Ambassadors will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. Through the programme the Guides are challenge to innovate and create meaningful anti-smoking campaigns to encourage their peers to either quit smoking or not smoke at all. Girls who have completed the programme have shown to display creativity in planning their campaign and were effective advocates to their peers to live a healthy lifestyle.\n\nTraining Details: \n\nDate: 18th March 2022 (Friday) \nTime: 3.00pm to 5.00pm \nPlatform: Zoom\nAttire: Guide half-uniform/School Attire\nThings to bring: Water bottle & writing materials\n\nBadge Award Ceremony:\nDetailed information will be released nearer to the date. \n\nRegistration:\nGuides need to attend one workshop only. \nRegistration Form: Smoke-Free Ambassador 2022 Registration\nMaximum participation: 60 Guides per workshop.\nRegistration on a first-come-first-served basis. In the event of overwhelming response\, only 4 Guides per unit will be accepted. \n\nConfirmation of registration will be via email. \n

DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \nAction on Body Confidence \nThis activity-based programme focuses on empowering and supporting participants to plan and run their own body confidence advocacy projects so as to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. Through surveys\, discussions and creative activities\, they will uncover the problems that low body confidence causes in the society and ask for change from the decision makers.  \nThis is an opportunity to develop and sharpen participants’ planning\, organising\, leadership and advocacy skills.
