DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nIt’s with great pleasure for us this year to invite the Guides to participate in the National Day Parade 2022 (NDP 2022) under the Parade & Ceremony (P&C) segment. NDP 2022 is a special year as we transit back to a physical parade. \n  \nThe P&C segment would require 20 to 22 guides from the same school and GGS would like to collect interest from interested schools. However\, if there are not enough Guides\, Guiders may still indicate the number of Guides who are interested through the Google form. \nGuiders may submit Company’s interest via https://forms.gle/zpRFWpA5zprdBfsA7 by 18 February 2022 (Friday)\, 11.59pm. \n  \nThere will be an internal selection pending on updates from the P&C organizing team and we will contact the interested schools for the selection process. The parade requirements are as follow if selected: \n  \nNumber of Guides required: 20 – 22 (from ONE school if possible) \nAttire for training & rehearsals: Full Guides uniform with marching boots\, 4cm long white socks\, and hair braided neatly into 2. \nTraining & rehearsal dates: All Saturdays from mid-May to 9th August 2022. \nReporting Venue: Guide House \nDismissing Venue: Guide House \n  \nGuides who are selected will be sponsored a new set of uniform (skirt\, blouse\, scarf\, and hat) and marching boots. A penalty of $76.70 will be incurred should the Guide decide to withdraw participation or absent without valid reason. Only medical certificates are accepted as a valid reason. \n  \nPlease note the following selection criteria: \n\n	Singaporean or Singapore PRs only\n	Minimum height of 1.55m\n	Have basic knowledge of foot drill\n	Preferably Guides who are in Secondary 2 & 3.\n	Not suffering from the following illnesses – asthma\, vertigo\, angina\, gastritis\, allergic to heat and perspiration (rashes)\, not able to stand in the sun for more than 20 minutes\, weak ankles\, etc.\n	Participants who are severely overweight (>130%) or severely underweight (<70%) should seek medical approval before participating.\n	Participants MUST be able to attend ALL training once selected to participate in the contingent.\n\n  \nParticipating schools will be able to claim PNAA points. Should there be any further queries\, please do not hesitate to contact the following personnel: \n  \n\n\n\n\nName \n\n\nDesignation \n\n\nContact No \n\n\n\n\nMs Tan Ying Jie \n\n\nGGS NDP Point-of-Contact (POC) \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n  \nThank you.

SUMMARY:2022 Membership Exercise for Units
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guider-in-charge\,  \nTo serve Girl Guides Singapore (GGS) members well\, we require updated records of our members. \nPlease refer to the three documents attached that need to be submitted by every school. \nThe completed forms are to be emailed to Ms Jalilah Johar at jalilah.johar@girlguides.org.sg by Monday 28 March 2022   \nPlease do not send the forms though fax or snail mail. \nUnit Membership Form 2022 \n\n	Please ensure that the number of members declared on the Unit Membership Form tallies with the membership numbers updated in the school cockpit system.\n	Do ensure that the form is endorsed by the HOD for CCA before submission.\n\n New Guiders’ Particulars Form 2022 \n\n	Please fill up the form to assist us in updating the Guiders data.\n\n GuidingLIGHT Account Creation Form 2022 \n\n	The information is required for GGS to create new user accounts for new members to access GuidingLIGHT.\n	Please check and ensure that all information provided are complete and correct before submission.\n	Do refer to the examples provided in the form and do not make any changes to the format of the form.\n	New accounts will be created within 2 weeks upon submission of complete and correct data.\n	Guiders will be informed on the successful creation of accounts through email. \n\nIn line with PDPA\, please ensure that all consents are obtained from your girls for the keeping of such information by the school and GGS\, and that all documents sent are password protected and saved as an excel workbook with the school name (e.g. Jurong_Lake_Secondary _School). Passwords for the files should be sent in a separate email. \nMembership Fee \n\n	The annual membership fee is $8 per member (Brownie/Girl Guide/Guider/MOE VAL) and membership fee per unit is at $10.\n	The membership fees allow GGS to sustain our programmes and daily operations to serve our members.\n	Payment of membership fees and the invoice for each school will be processed upon submission of the completed and signed Unit Membership Form.\n\nPlease write to Ms Jalilah Johar at  jalilah.johar@girlguides.org.sg if you require any clarifications.  \nThank you for your support.
