DESCRIPTION:Dear Guiders\, \n  \nThis is the time of the year when we evaluate our Guide Units programmes for the year as well as complete the Puan Noor Aishah Award form. \n  \nThe details are as follows: \nDeadline: 30 January 2022 (Sun)\, 5 pm \nPlease submit all necessary documents and supporting information via this link:  PNAA 2021 Guide Units \nDo take note of the following: \n\n	Use the correct PNAA form – this is available from the GGS website (PNAA 2021 Form)\n	Please adhere to the information/verification required strictly.\n	Please submit the Unit Membership Form (submitted to HQ in end March) and the cockpit attendance instead.\n	If you are submitting online\, please adhere to the guidelines given to the naming of files. Failure to do so may cause your files to be missed easily.\n	Under the camp category\, if you are claiming camp with kitchen shelter\, field cooking under the kitchen shelter must have been conducted.\n	PNAA form must be duly signed by HOD and Captain of the Unit.\n\nIf you are submitting online\, do not wait till the last minute in case of any system error. DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\,\n\nHQ is organising the WAGGGS Badge Programme : the Free Being Me (FBM) cum the Action on Body Confidence (ABC) to P5 and P6 Brownies.\n\nThe Free Being Me (FBM) is a WAGGGS Badge targets at girls and young women. It focuses on empowering girls by improving their confidence and self-esteem to realize their fullest potential. Through fun and interactive activities through different technological platforms\, Brownies will learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies\, standing up to social pressures and supporting others to be more body confident.\n\nThe Action on Body Confidence (ABC) has been created to support more girls. It allows participants to plan and run Action Projects to reach out to more people in a meaningful way. Participants will develop skills in teamwork\, planning\, public speaking and decision making as well as campaigning and community outreach. \n\n“FBM” and “ABC” co-relates to MOE’s framework fulfilling the following objectives :\n1. Debunk societal myth (Self and Society Awareness)\n2. Create self-awareness in relation to one’s own strengths (Self-Management)\n3. Make responsible decisions about one’s choice (Responsible Decision-Making)\n4. Encourage others (Relationship Management)\n\nBrownies will learn the following from this workshop :-\n∙ What’s inside us matter most\n∙ There’s not just one way to look beautiful\n∙ There is a huge diversity of beauty ideals around the world\n∙ The media uses a narrow idea of beauty to sell things to us\n∙ Images of beauty in the media often don’t show people as they really are\n∙ Learning to value ourselves and our abilities that builds body confidence\n∙ Sharing body confidence messages with friends can make us and our communities feel more empowered \n*No. of Brownies : Maximum of 5 Brownies per Pack (Registration is based on the first-come-first-served)\n*Cost: $5/Brownie \nRegistration is based on the first-come-first-served. \nRegistration Form \nPlease submit 1 google form per Pack. \nPlease email Sim Yee at simyee@girlguides.org.sg for any queries relating to this programme.
