DESCRIPTION:BPA 2021 Round 2\, 2 Jul \nDear Guide Guiders\, \nThe registration for Baden-Powell Award (BPA) is now open: BPA 2021 Registration \nPlease be reminded that with effect from 2020\, BPA is a pre-requisite for application for the President’s Guide Award (PGA). \nApplicants who failed the BPA test for the first time will be allowed a second chance to take the BPA test. Each Guide will be given a maximum of TWO times to sit for the test. \nThe Baden-Powell Award (BPA) is the highest award given out by our Chief Commissioner to a Girl Guide.\nAll applicants must:\n• be below 18 years old in the year of the test;\n• be members of registered Coys of GGS;\n• be deemed by their Guider to have developed to their fullest leadership potential;\n• have attained at least a Silver Badge;\n• have attained any eight Proficiency / Interest Badges. \nBelow is the information pertaining to the written and execution test for Round 1\,\nWritten Test date: 2 July 2021\, Fri\nExecution Test date: To be completed by: 11 Sep 2021\nReporting Time: 2.30 pm\nTime: 3 pm – 5 pm (written test)\nVenue: Virtual\nAttire: Full Guide Uniform (Compulsory)\nPlease note that Guides who are late or inappropriately attired will not be allowed to sit for the test. \nThe deadline for BPA Round 2 Registration is 30 June 2021\, Wednesday. \nThings to bring for the Written Test:\n• School Calendar (Semester 2 is enough. This will be submitted together with answer script)\n• Copy of 5-Point Programme Modules & Clauses\n• GGS Calendar (Semester 2 is enough)\n• Stationery\n• Planning Template (as many as you think your Guides require) \nFor Guiders sending your Guides for this test\, please note that you are required to send a qualified tester from your school. \nAs mentioned in the Guide Branch meeting in September\, there will be changes to the BPA Rubrics.\nThe tester will have to attend the compulsory BPA scripts markings on either 9 / 10 Jul 2021. \nFor every three BPA applications\, the Unit must provide one BPA tester. \nThank you.

DESCRIPTION:Dear Brownie Guiders\, \nHQ is organising a pilot programme in collaboration with Singapore Cancer Society to P4 and P5 Brownies. \n  \nBrownies who come onboard this programme will be given an opportunity to make significant impact to the community by educating their peers to promote a smoke free environment and at the same time help to reduce cancer in Singapore. As part of the badge requirements\, Brownies will be required to complete an advocacy project: \ni) After attending the workshop\, Brownies would need to submit their project proposal (this includes a Mask Design and proposal plan) by the 14 July 2021 \nii) Upon getting approval for their project\, Brownies would need to carry out outreach activities by preparing a deck of slides to present to their existing Brownie Pack/members of other CCAs via Zoom (from 15 to 30 July 2021) \niii) Thereafter\, schools would need to submit a summary report for each of the projects completed by 11 August 2021 \n  \nThis google form is for the registration of the Brownie Singapore Cancer Society Round 2 on 2 July 2021. \n  \nRegistration is based on the first-come-first-served. \n  \nPlease submit 1 google form per pack here \n\n \nSincerely\,\n \nMs Siti Nurbaya\nBrownie Branch Commissioner\nGirl Guides Singapore
