These projects will be planned and executed by the PGA candidates of 2021. \n  \nBoth programmes will last 3 Days from 15 – 17 March 2021 and conducted virtually.  \n  \nInterested Guiders can send up to between 1 – 4 Guides with leadership potential per Unit for this virtual experience. \n  \nIf you are interested\, please register here. \n  \n\n\n\n\nTest Task \n\n\nOption 1 \n\n\nOption 2 \n\n\n\n\nTitle: \n\n\nOutdoor Learning Experience \n\n\nSocial Action Project \n\n\n\n\nVenue: \n\n\nZoom from Home \n\n\nZoom from Home \n\n\n\n\nCost: \n\n\n$30 / Guide.\nFor resources\, materials etc. \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\nParticipants (no of Patrols) \n\n\n24 Guides \n\n	Lower Secondary Guides who show leadership potential\n	100% attendance is required.\n\n\n\n24 Guides \n\n	Lower Secondary Guides who show leadership potential\n	100% attendance is required.\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails \n\n\n3D virtual camp\, where its objective is to promote outdoor learning. Candidates are required to share their passion for the outdoors through this camp in a creative manner. \n\n\nA virtual project lasting 3 days of *advocacy work\, based on the theme (except outdoor learning experience) that the candidates desire. SUMMARY:Mental Health Advocacy Badge Programme
DESCRIPTION:Dear Guide Guiders\, \n  \nThere will be a new badge programme on Mental Health Advocacy coming up in January 2021. The Mental Health Advocacy badge programme is created for the Guides to equip them with the mental health knowledge and skills as well as support them to initiate ground-up mental health projects to increase mental health awareness among their peers\, family and community. This pilot programme is funded by Temasek Foundation and the training will be delivered by the Institute of Mental Health. \n  \nDetails of the first run of the training (via Zoom) \nSession 1 : 15 March 2021 (Mon)\, 9:00am – 12.30pm \nSession 2 : 16 March 2021 (Tues)\, 9:00am – 12.30pm \nSession 3 : 17 March 2021 (Wed)\, 9:00am – 12.30pm \n  \nRequirements of this interest badge \n\n	Guides have to attend all three sessions of the training on mental health literacy\n	Upon completion of the training\, Guides (in groups of up to 6 girls) will have to design and complete an action project within the school or community on\n\n\n	seeking awareness of mental health\n	destigmatising mental health conditions in their school and community\n	promoting inclusivity for those with mental health conditions in the public\n\n\n\n\n	Complete an individual reflection of the Guide’s learning experience and submit a photo documentation of the project as a group\n\n  \nRegistration \nPlease sign up by 15 February 2021\, using this link https://forms.gle/hwVrLArhddV7sVae8 \nEach Guider has to register for 5-6 Guides per school \nKindly direct all queries to linfang@girlguides.org.sg \n  \nSincerely\, \n  \nMrs Koh-Teh Yi Wen\nChief Commissioner
